Eddie didn’t introduce dodgy PPVs - they’ve been around years. Khan/Prescott, Degale/Groves for the British title etc etc.Frostieballs wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 11:52 So he’s justifying DAZN PPV by citing that they won’t be charging PPV anymore for fights that should never have been PPV in the first place.
Couldn’t make it up.
So in short, we are going back to the model before he started ripping off us with unworthy PPVs.
That’s the opposite of Game. Changed.

They have certainly become more frequent on his watch.maverick23 wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 12:00Eddie didn’t introduce dodgy PPVs - they’ve been around years. I dislike the idea of PPV on Dazn and will probably ditch Dazn if they go that way, but let's not kid ourselves that Hearn is the main one or the only one at fault here.
Sky are falling over themselves to get back into the PPV game, as Eubank/Williams proves. A good domestic scrap, and that's all it is. Both have been exposed at anything approaching world level. Sky have zero intention of dropping or decreasing their PPV nights. Quite the opposite in fact.
Arum thinks he can mug the Uk market off with PPV fights, as he has already proven. Warren is absolutely no better. Tommy fkn Fury anyone.
Game wrecked!

Eubank v Williams will be a great fight

Eddie was moaning about the Brook-Khan fight the other day.peter barlow wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 06:59 Eddie Hearn just stated in his latest interview that Sky are going to put this on box office![]()
Great Saturday night fight, but box office? Ain't even a title at stake. Sky are a joke
He's started coming across a tad bitter now he hasn't got the Sky machine behind him
Re: Eubank Junior Vs Liam Williams on Sky Box office
True. Williams showed his level there, and the second Smith fight. From those, it looked to be below Eubank Jr. If he can improve, at 29 he may be peaking right now, all well and good. But neither are, nor will be PPV worthy. Good fight though, don't get me wrong, but really is it more than a British title level fight?
The answer is no.

Good fight. Pathetic as a PPV. Also - I hate Adam Smith, I hate Sky and I hate Eddie Hearn ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
