118-110 ?!
Don't have a problem with that tbh. I know it seems wrong for Joet to fight so hard and through that awful eye and only get 2 rounds, but he was really getting sliced up for a lot of the fight and even when he did good work nava just seemed to do a bit more i thought. i dont think joet clearly took more than 2 rounds, even if you could score another one or two for him

117-111 Navarrete for me, his volume and body punching winning on the day, he isn't the quickest and his combos are pretty repetitive, left uppercut/right up top or left downstairs/right to head , sometimes doubling and tripling them up but he makes it work, a lot of his shots landed on gloves and arms but still plenty got through, he has lead in his gloves so he punches through guard a lot of the time

Gonzalez is a tough hombre, fought with a caved in right eye from round 3 but never lost heart and always came forward, he just didn't throw enough in most rounds, he did hit Navarrete with a few big shots though, hard fought but comfortable on cards

Serious stones on Gonzalez, fan friendly fight. Navarrete's uppercuts are brutal at times, pretty relentless and going to be a tough test for anyone with his size and unorthodox angles. Joet left it all in there though, so game and landed plenty of shots himself.
