Why the WBC didn’t actually come out and say the winner of Otto/Whyte would be mandatory is beyond me.
They completely wrote Wallin off and showed him no respect imo.
This fight should be a final eliminator. Whyte got knocked cold out 2 fights ago against a vet.
Wallin unfortunately is not ranked in the top 15 by WBC so probably couldn't be in a final eliminator.
Perhaps we could speculate that Wallin may have got the fight because he wasn't ranked by the WBC and couldn't take Whytes mandatory spot

he's mandatory and there's really no bigger fight out there for fury, except aj or usyk, and theyre both tied up
