boxers with successful 2nd careers in boxing

Post by margaret thatcher »

as promoter or trainer or inspector, judge or ref, etc

dimitry salita promotes otto wallin. he's done decently for himself, not a major top rank /mr level, but has had some decent fighters and has gotten lots of usa tv cards. a lot of fighters who try promoting only last a very short time

Johnny Nelson, like him or not, he's definitely made a success of his TV career.

Bellend had a nice overachieving career, after which he seems to get paid well for being Eddeh's henchman.

Ukraine’s Viktor Fesechko was a very busy journeyman in the 1990s-early 2000s. Featured on dozens of UK undercards and faced some very good opposition (Wayne Alexander, Howard Eastman, Gary Lockett…)usually going the distance.
He’s a very busy inspector, judge and referee.
He was one of judges for the Joshua-Usyk fight.

great examples my bruhs :box:

i dont know the ins and outs of the job, but the whole inspector/supervisor thing seems like a nice one. none of the pressure of the ref or judges, but still get to be part of the fights
