Well possibly, I guess it depends whether the cross is a symbol which is worshipped, or as originally intended, merely a badge which identified the wearer as a follower of christ. Though if I remember rightly, the far less trendy fish used to be the symbol for that, until the more eye catching cross took over.

Imagine there could be loads of rappers wearing massive diamond studded fishes in an alternate universe somewhere?

On another note, did anyone here know that 50 Cent used to be a heavyweight boxer? There's a Curtis Jackson listed on boxrec, but it cannot be him as he would have been 14 in 1989 when Jackson was fighting.

I have read a few interviews in which Hopkins says he does not touch alcohol, how he lives the life of a fighter.

I'm not really a fan of his so haven't read much about him, but I do remeber reading an interview where he said he liked boxing a lot and used to do it when he was a kid but was never as a professional..

50 cent never was a boxer, although like thousands he'd liked to have been one.
Born in South Jamaica, Queens, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has lived in New York City all his life. Raised by his grandparents after his father ran out and his mother was shot when he was only eight. Growing up, the Queens rapper originally wanted to be a heavyweight boxer, but eventually fell back on rapping. DJs had taken it upon themselves to release two Best of 50 Cent mix CDs, before he had even signed to a major label. 50 Cent hit the scene with "How To Rob An Industry Nigga" and he's been on a rampage ever since dealing with bootleggers, label back stabbing and other platinum selling artists trying to get at him physically.

A mate of mine has just come back from Tenerife three weeks ago and was chatting to Hatton in Lineker's bar. He was well gone, I'll try and get the photo's he took of Hatton propped up against the bar.

Calzaghe's well known for not drinking in-between fights, pretty much good condition in-between bouts.
