Max Kellerman interviewed Shakur Stevenson a few days ago, here's a little of what went on.
MK ... Devin Haney I mentioned before, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis even if fighting in so many weight divisions, Oscar Valdez, Lomachenko.
All these guys are still out there, who would you want to fight in a perfect world ?
SS ... Lomachenko

Agreed. Going to be a snoozer. It's something to watch at least.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 12:33 Ugly style matchup

Re: Jamel Herring vs. Shakur Stevenson | ESPN - October 23, 2021
You really think it has the makings of a snoozer ?
I think it has enough ingredients to be entertaining.

Re: Jamel Herring vs. Shakur Stevenson | ESPN - October 23, 2021
It's not a beef fight, they don't dislike one another whatever Stevenson is saying.
It's more of an older experienced boxer against a young up and comer.

Stevenson could be entertaining if he was pressed but herring isnt that guy
Re: Jamel Herring vs. Shakur Stevenson | ESPN - October 23, 2021
Unless Herring gets lucky with a shot early why would he press Stevenson, makes more sense to take him a few rounds doesn't it ?Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 20:38 Stevenson could be entertaining if he was pressed but herring isnt that guy

Stevenson has a decided advantage in every department. If herring sits back he will lose every round.Evander wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 20:42Unless Herring gets lucky with a shot early why would he press Stevenson, makes more sense to take him a few rounds doesn't it ?Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 20:38 Stevenson could be entertaining if he was pressed but herring isnt that guy

Re: Jamel Herring vs. Shakur Stevenson | ESPN - October 23, 2021
very difficult for me to think of a more boring world champ than shak. pretty much every other boring top level guy is more interesting to watch than him for some reason or another.
with shak its the same jab........jab..........straight left. over and over, hardly any power, never stepping on the gas, even vs lowly opposition. just hard to get interested.
that said, kid has some sharp skills no doubt, i dont question that he's a very good boxer

Anyone know why Andre Ward isn’t on set? Is it a vaccine issue?
