Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson Reportedly Set For February 2022
Spectacle For The Ages
26 year-old viral internet sensation Logan Paul is back to boxing after making a huge payday against Floyd Mayweather last June. The massive purse earned in his exhibition with Mayweather wouldn’t stop him from putting on the gloves once again.
The same would go for the legendary Mike Tyson.
While ‘Iron’ Mike has a lot in the bank, it does not satisfy his lust for combat. The 55 year-old makes his comeback to the squared circle after going the distance with Roy Jones Jr in 2020. His exhibition would end in a split draw.
Coming Soon
The two, who have had very different pasts, will have a go at each other in February.
The news would be first reported by Keemstar of Drama Alert.

No way.
I thought it was Tommy love island Fury. Or is that the other Paul?
I guess I don't care enough to tell which is which - unless they drag Mike Tyson's wobbly old broken arse into the ring for an unwatchable beat down.
This sh*t has to stop.

Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Boxing 2022 and Logan Paul is now in the top 5 draws?
Canelo v Logan Paul could be the biggest fight of the year.
That's Entertainment.
Don't blame LP. He's only filling in the void that the parasites who currently run boxing have created via their matchmaking shenanigans.
Until boxing decides to attempt to return to being a sport these sorts of carnivals will prevail.
And why not?
Don't we all want to see Logan Paul get chinned?

Boxing has been so bad. There are almost no big stars and the big fights just aren't what they used to be.

Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Jake vs Tommy Fury and Logan vs Tyson while not real boxing are the biggest fights possible for the guys involved and its hard to know how the fights will go. Anyone could win anyway. "Real" boxing could learn a thing or 2 from this matchmaking.
Even if a fight is trash, if im going in thinking either could knock the other out, or it could be a wide decision either way, or it could be a draw.... ill be entertained.
Even if a fighter is great, if he is walking in to knock em down ill watch, but hard to get excited without being curious.

The sport has plenty of big fights out there. It's this nonsense from promoters who believe in "marinating" everything. It's simply no longer acceptable to the sporting public. There needs to be matches on a regular basis, otherwise people are going to simply lose interest.

Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
That's because boxing has become overbusinessized.
OverBusinessSized. Yes. Nice word from a well buzzed ole buzzer, such as myself.
But seriously, what can one expect when elite boxers rationalize that having one bout per year, and if even
That,in this day and age, is somehow uber en vogue businessman coolness. Well,I say to that nonsense,
No,you laymo sellout pampered pooch !! boxing is supposed to be about living and breathing a warrior lifestyle.
Being a true warrior is a gift,in of itself,it doesn't entitle one to feel deserving of being a high ranking King on
Some sort of Very High Golden Pedestal.
Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
While us hardcores think Lopez/Lomachenko is a big fight, most casuals don't really care. They're only interested in Canelo and Logan Paul. As I said, there are no big stars right now.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 21:19The sport has plenty of big fights out there. Canelo is like the only one, and that's just super sad. Hopefully, Vergil Ortiz can start to change things up because we're in dire need of more superstars. Welterweight has good fighters, but none of those dudes stopped traffic like Pacquiao and Mayweather did.
Best thing for boxing is if these guys start fighting more and PBC goes out of business.
Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Of course, it's also how badly boxing fumbled the pandemic. While the UFC created a freaking "fight island" Bob Arum and the rest of the promoters were fumbling around trying to stay oldschool and out-of-touch booking empty stadiums like idiots. I hate that this is my favorite sport because it's held together by cardboard and bubblegum. Also, Top Rank is spending far too much money on great fighters that are never going to draw a dime. Stevenson and Crawford are good fighters, but OMFG, they shouldn't be getting the kind of push they're getting. It's a failed experiment, and Top Rank should've been using their resources elsewhere.AngryGoon38 wrote: ↑24 Oct 2021, 01:27That's because boxing has become overbusinessized.

Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Logan Paul asked Floyd Mayweather Jr. to go easy on him and Money May duly obliged, because he’s a professional.
Mike Tyson didn’t try to hurt Roy Jones Jr. either. He appreciated the business context of the of the exhibition he was participating in.
It was about money, not glory. Both men were working together to earn a decent payday. Nothing could be gained from inflicting pain!
So you’d have to assume that the Logan Paul and Mike Tyson exhibition will simply be a light body sparring session, but will be miss-sold to the naive gullible mainstream masses as a genuine sporting spectacle - a theatrically fake grudge match!
Neither man are ridiculous enough to treat the exhibition as a serious fight - they’re both much better, more intelligent and more professional individuals than that clown Vitor Belfort!
That said, I don’t personally enjoy watching these exhibitions, because I tend to find them quite boring, but I may subsequently decide to watch the highlights on YouTube.

That may be true, but I can see a Ketchel/Johnson moment occurring in this one.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑24 Oct 2021, 07:09 Logan Paul asked Floyd Mayweather Jr. to go easy on him and Money May duly obliged, because he’s a professional.

Mate mike Tyson was shit 15 years ago. He peaked early his prime was probably 30 years ago… and his style requires athleticism.adislav123 wrote: ↑24 Oct 2021, 15:29gregregegg wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 17:54 this is a bit much for me. Logan is shit, but he is 220ish pounds, roided to the tits and training.
If they box in real gloves 8x 3min rounds,, and fight proper, mike getting knocked isn’t outrageous, it’s an upset result sure, but far from impossible.
Re: Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson - February 2022
Logan Paul wont even fight Mairis Briedis no way he will fight Tyson as Tyson hits harder than Briedis and is still a better fighter in his late 50's than Briedis is now.
