Seriously. I have no issue with that kind of stoppage as long as it’s consistent. It looks soft in comparison to a lot of fight, and then looks humane to a few.
Herring got outfight all over but he was never hurt and he was the champion… I’ve seen many recent instances of fighters being allowed to carry on after more punishment in lesser fights.

I’d seen more than enough, too. Shakur has a great skill set and he’s only 24… maybe his power will come a little later.

I like this stoppage vs those others. No sense getting a fighter hurt and it's the ref's first priority to ensure the fighter's safety as we all know.

Stevenson is a great boxer. He style reminds me of Chris Eubank Jr. Only better.

Nice performance from Stevenson, looked razor sharp from the offset and his accuracy and variety were tremendous. Felt for Herring, great guy but he was beaten by the better man on the night, no shame in that. Shakur is going to be tough to beat, could be in some great match ups at lightweight down the line.

This feels like Shakur’s first world title fight.

But if he wins this, he’s already a 2-weight world champion

It was the first time he'd faced a top-ten rated opponent (TBRB ratings) in his career. Crazy given the attention he's received.

i think it was a really good win for shakur , he went late still throwing plenty , yea people might say the power isnt there granted that will allways be an issue maybe later but i think at his age and engine now and he can box brilliantly might get away with it ,there is a lot of fighters in the division that are big with power iam not sure his boxing is good enough to beat them , but he wasnt hurt from herring ,he is good no doubt
