Naoya Inoue vs. Michael Dasmarinas - 19 June 2021
Re: Naoya Inoue vs. Michael Dasmarinas - 19 June 2021
Best fight on the card was Adam Lopez vs Isaac Dogboe.
Good to see the right man won but Lopez did put it on him in the second part of the fight after giving the first 5 rounds away. Shame it was only 10 rounds as it would’ve been set up perfectly for the last two rounds and I think Lopez would’ve won!
I want to see it again over 12 rounds in some kind of final eliminator.
Great scrap!

Donaire again surely, or Casemiro? In Vegas. Unification fight… then move up to super bantams and get some more belts!
Re: Naoya Inoue vs. Michael Dasmarinas - 19 June 2021
There were so many fights last night on so many platforms that I had to run this one back. Lopez came on, and a draw was a legit card, but Dogboe showed his grit in this one. Even when Lopez appeared to have turned the tide of the fight, Dogboe was landing strong counter shots throughout. Very impressive performance for both. Definitely nominee for fight of the night, but there is steep competition for that crown, especially from the Leo v Alameda absolute war, but also The Bull v Rosado, Cruz v Vargas, Charlo v The Mexican Zombie, and that is not to mention the great UFC card.Dioufy wrote: ↑20 Jun 2021, 08:40 Best fight on the card was Adam Lopez vs Isaac Dogboe.

He has already beat don pretty wide. Sure it was a great fight but I’d rather inoue add new names. Rigo, choc, Estrada, winner of the upcoming 122 fight for top dawg there. 28 is the time to be adding fresh elite names to that record and put your name in p4p number 1 contention.

he should fight rigo and the donaire-casimero winner....he did beat donaire clear already (shouldve been a ko) but there would be added legacy value in being undisputed. after that he needs either a big lower name to move up, or to go up himself if he wants notable opponents. i think he might be stretching it by moving up to 122 though. at that point he seriously risks a much lesser guy just bullying him similar to nery-fig

Think he will be just as potent if he moves up one or two weights. Wouldn't recommend anything above though... he's not Manny the flyweight champ being LMW champ.

As much as I admire and like Donaire, it would be better for Inoua's standing if Caimero wins and then they clash for all 4 titles.
Naoya doesn't need to be going over old ground, repeating wins. His fight with Nonito was excellent, but he needs fresh opponents to keep powering on and turning heads IMO.

I’d rather not see the monster versus the filipino flash II.
Two of the pound for pound hardest punchers on the planet, with two of the best chins as well, equals serious damage. 12 rounds of hell was enough for these two warriors.
Especially the great Nonito after such a long hard career, he deserves an easier route to retirement.

WBA/WBO bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue after defeating Michael Dasmarinas: "Thank you everyone for your support [for my] second main event in Las Vegas. This time, I was able to relax. This was a mandatory defense, but next time I hope it is for a four-belt world championship unification against the winner of [WBC champion Nontio] Donaire vs. [IBF champion John Riel] Casimero!" Re: Naoya Inoue vs. Michael Dasmarinas - 19 June 2021
ya he's stagnated bad since winning the super series
too bad the casimero fight got cancelled. also that doonaire got to ouubali first and rigo lost in such a dud to casimero. it cut down the number of really interesting possibilities for him
and casimero has a total dud mandatory defense vs butler too
