Well, imagine 40y/o grandpa GGG beating the son of English ?! lol
Andrade vs Eubank Jr winner VS GGG vs Murata winner
So do you think Son of English would not dare to fight Andrade?
I feel most fighters wouldn't want to face Andrade, even Demetrius' fellow stablemates.apollo creed wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 12:12So do you think Son of English would not dare to fight Andrade?
It'd be an interesting fight-test for both.
Did you see Chris's last fight?apollo creed wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 12:12So do you think Son of English would not dare to fight Andrade?

The Eubank Jr that fought Groves would have been an enjoyable watch vs Andrade, but I haven't seen that Eubank Jr since. Not that I'm saying he would have beat Andrade, but he would definitely have taken it to him.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 16:10 Andrade is a terrible matc for eubank no way that happens
Eubank vs ggg or murata is great
Roy Jones Jr. is trying to transform Eubank Jr. into a master boxer.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 16:16The Eubank Jr that fought Groves would have been an enjoyable watch vs Andrade, but I haven't seen that Eubank Jr since. It's the work output that mostly concerns me EO.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:21Roy Jones Jr. is trying to transform Eubank Jr. into a master boxer.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 16:16The Eubank Jr that fought Groves would have been an enjoyable watch vs Andrade, but I haven't seen that Eubank Jr since. Imagine how much success someone would achieve trying to make Jeff Fenech or Wayne McCullough fight like Pernell Whitaker?
Some of the individual techniques Roy has taught Chris are working, but the total stylistic overhaul isn’t.
Exactly! That’s the main point I was trying to make.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:40It's the work output that mostly concerns me EO.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:21Roy Jones Jr. is trying to transform Eubank Jr. into a master boxer.

Chris got to where he is by training hard and working hard in the ring. Yes he will benefit from some new techniques, but if he is only throwing 3/5ths the amount of punches per round, they better be some awesome techniques.

Fenech and McCullough were volume punchers with monstrous engines that usually fought at close range. Fairly similar to Eubank Jr’s optimal style.
When Eubank Jr. achieved success during the Groves and Saunders bouts, it was when he resorted to his natural fighting style… trying to overwhelm his opponent with high-workrate coupled with mid-range shots, such as the uppercuts.
Now he’s boxing more, but it doesn’t come naturally to him.
He thinks before he executes - zero instincts. He’s not using his muscle memory, because he’s operating outside of his comfort zone.
The implementation of his new style has drastically affected his punch volume. And he’s less effective because of it.
So what? As boxing fan I just want to see both fighting each other to establish themselves in the mw division.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 15:56Did you see Chris's last fight?apollo creed wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 12:12So do you think Son of English would not dare to fight Andrade?

I don't know if he has slipped, or it was just a very off night.
Going by that performance, Andrade would box rings around him in a sad one sided beat down.
No, grandpappy G is about right.
Agree.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 16:16The Eubank Jr that fought Groves would have been an enjoyable watch vs Andrade, but I haven't seen that Eubank Jr since. Jr vs a top mw would reverse back to his old style when he'd get in the trenches. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:40It's the work output that mostly concerns me EO.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:21Roy Jones Jr. is trying to transform Eubank Jr. into a master boxer.
