The big question is, why the fornicate has Roz never fought a pulse at cruiser? is it possible that rivas was so bad tonight that he made Roz look decent even though he isnt? rivas did hurt him in 1, then looked gassed after 2, i suspect cutting weight and holding muscel had some unintended issues.

Either way, if we dont get Roz vs babic 6 months from now (roz needs to rest that brain of his.)ill be sad.

a dude from nova scotia in canada, it's like a tiny place. he's not alligned with the whole gym/eye of the tiger group in quebec (french area), which i think are basically the only notable promoters in canada...........so the past weak opposition couldve been simply a lack of promotional capacity rather than a lack confidence. they certainly took this tough opportuniuty

if he were a french canadian from quebec, he'd prob have a lot more backing

Rivas has always had bad stamina. He should not fight at CW again where the fighters are a lot more mobile and faster. He's made to be a power-punching, explosive, cagey HW.

115-112 and 2x117-112 fir Rivas.

Scorecards correct but Roz was amazing - he cannot be in a dull fight.

im still like, should roz go back to cruiser, which is more suited for his size

or does this fight make him a star bridgerweight and automatically get him more 'big' fights at the weight?

He should go to Cruiser Shirley.

If he can fight like he did tonight, but have a size and strength advantage….
he could win a belt and more if he hones his craft a bit.
Quite a bit of honing to do mind.

Don’t really like the WBC with all their fugazi belts but this is one thing I think they got right this bridgerweight is actually a good idea -a Division for heavyweights That aren’t 6 foot eight

Personally if I was the man... I would use the bridgerweight title as a negotiating tool to get a shot at the cruiserweight title... Personally I don't see why both titles couldn't be on the line at the same time kind of like when Leonard fought LaLonde. :maybe:

rivas was absolutely shredded at 222, would be tough for him to make cruiser. he is a legitimate tank like build and not just a fatty who needs to shed some rolls

Rivas is 100% on extracurricular stuff, but he'd have to cut off a leg to make CW. Plus, he's non-threatening. Doesn't have the speed or stamina to bother any of the top guys.

A championship fight? Bridgerwhat? Where did they find that 'contender' Rosicky, Rozitski or whatever? In a tattoo salon? The guy could only stand head-to-head, telegraph swings and eat punches. It was embarrassing for Rivas to go a distance against that guy and become a 'champion'.

Actually, in addition to everything Rivas was 20 pounds heavier than the opponent. Maybe the other guy should have fought for the super cruiserweight championship instead? Or light bridgerweight?

Why Sulaiman can't just f*cking die?

i think bridgerweight needs to be split in 2, the difference between big bridgerweights and small ones is too much, rivas was so much bigger :maybe:
