I agree MT.
You could have Fury as #1 or as champ, it's debatable. But with an undefeated 3 belt holding Usyk out there, it's not undisputed.

I'm sure fury will be happy to take him on as soon as possible. After all he was about to fight AJ before the Wilder rematch clause was enforced.

There's a fair chance of a 4 belt undisputed happening within 18 months.
The moment will be after the aj-usyk rematch & after fury faces whyte?
If it doesn't happen immediately then, then belts will start to be stripped.

What do we know about Tyson Fury? He's better than Deontay Wilder.
What do we know about Deontay Wilder? He's better than Luis Ortiz.
What do we know about Luis Ortiz? He's better than Bryant Jennings.

Ok that's only semi-serious, but there are questions for Fury to answer before I regard him as "The Man" at heavyweight. Joshua needs some serious repairs to his reputation, and Usyk needs more than a win over a very unconvincing looking Joshua before I consider him number one, even if he does hold most of the belts.

In short I think the heavyweight situation is as 'up in the air' as it was before, and an undisputed champion as far away as ever. I'd say Fury leads the pack only because in my head Fury beats Usyk quite handily. There again I thought it was a very risky fight but I thought Joshua would beat Usyk too, so maybe don't take my Fury beats Usyk conviction as being entirely reliable.

We were so close just a few months ago but now it's anybody's guess which we'll see first: An undisputed heavyweight champion or Halley's comet. :verysad:
