Devin Haney, how high was his highest purse during his career so far? 100k maybe and why? Cause his promoter was feeling charitable?
Same with that Tank guy, been avoiding the biggest fights out there from the start and what? He thinks that he can walk into multi million dollar fights from that? Not a chance.

Haney is self promoted, but was also signed with Hearn on a co-promotional deal (probably so he could fight on DAZN)..H8Usernames wrote: ↑17 Oct 2021, 07:58 Devin Haney, how high was his highest purse during his career so far? 100k maybe and why? Cause his promoter was feeling charitable?

Haney is probably one of the easiest boxers to make a fight with, and that’s why he promotes himself.
He can fight on any network he likes.
He was usually on $400k a fight.
He made $1 million purse on the KSI-Paul card.
He most likely worth more than Teo as well.. even after Teo’s next fight.

Do you really think Haney’s biggest purse is $100k so far?H8Usernames wrote: ↑17 Oct 2021, 07:58 Devin Haney, how high was his highest purse during his career so far? 100k maybe and why? Cause his promoter was feeling charitable?

Re: Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. | DAZN - November 27, 2021

Press Release
Unified Lightweight Champion Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) will finally make his maiden title defense of his WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring belts against George Kambosos Jr (19-0, 10 KOs) at Hulu Theater, Madison Square Garden, New York, on Saturday, November 27 – live worldwide and exclusively on DAZN.
Lopez’s first fight since upsetting former champion Vasiliy Lomachenko in October 2020, the Brooklyn native beat the Ukrainian by unanimous decision, taking with him the prized straps and unified crown. Australian Kambosos Jr. comes into the fight as the mandatory IBF challenger, also boasting a perfect record and coming off the back of a split decision win against former IBF Featherweight Champion Lee Selby.
"The time has finally come!" said López. "It has been a long wait for Team Takeover. We’ve been in the zone for six months and counting but we’re pleased to be able to finally get this fight on DAZN! The Takeover will show the world once again why we are called 'The People’s Champ'."
"It has been a long time coming, I have been patient but ready and I have continued to perfect my craft, leaving no stone unturned to be victorious and win all the belts," said Kambosos Jr. "I’m very excited to be headlining my biggest fight of my life on another great Matchroom card against Teofimo López after earning this opportunity last year by becoming the IBF mandatory and world number 1 on another great Matchroom show. I know they will give this fight the respect it deserves and I will shock the world and be crowned World Champion on November 27 in New York City.”
“I am delighted to be bringing Lopez vs. Kambosas to DAZN and Madison Square Garden,” said Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn. “This rivalry has been cooking for a long time and now we finally get to see them put it to bed in the Big Apple.
“Teofimo is one of the big young stars in the sport but George is a hungry proud Aussie who knows that this is the chance to put his name amongst the elite of the game.
“The Lightweight division will catch fire once again at the end of 2021 with Devin Haney set to defend his WBC crown in December on DAZN after Teofimo and George tangle; the winter schedule on DAZN is unrivaled and this fight is one of the best out there at the end of this year.”
“We’re thrilled to add this incredible Lightweight clash to our fall fight schedule to close out a busy 2021,” said Joseph Markowski, DAZN EVP. “López is a superstar in the sport of boxing and I’m sure will treat DAZN subscribers worldwide with a magnificent performance on the night. Kambosos is a tough competitor and a real test for the champion. This is one of the hottest divisions of the sport and both men will undoubtedly leave it all in the ring on November 27 and give fight fans globally a night to remember.”

Funny thing is that a man of Thors size would have simply killed Teo with that 1 shot if he had any idea what he's doing.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 05:06Can tell it hurt him.

I still have Kambosos kicking Teo's ass.
Who will be next on Kambosos list? Probably a matchup vs Lomachenko since none of the primadonnas are gonna want a piece of him after this 1.

I've seen Kamboso once, and he's not that good, man. He'd need to pop a lucky charm out of his ass to win this one.H8Usernames wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 21:13 I still have Kambosos kicking Teo's ass.

He gets better every fight. This is one or two fights too soon IMO. But you don't turn down a championship. Maybe the rust will affect Lopez more.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 23:22I've seen Kamboso once, and he's not that good, man. Maybe I am delusional. It really didn't look to me like Kambosos was all that bad from the fights that I saw with him.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 23:22I've seen Kamboso once, and he's not that good, man. Re: Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. | DAZN - November 27, 2021
kambo is solid , i consider him a respectable lower top 10 in the division guy. teo is a lot more than that though - an elite, p4p boxer-puncher
what does kambo do better than teo?

That's the thing isn't it? I don't know much about Kambosos but as I see, it he's going in with the guy who beat Loma so he had better be good if we are expecting this to be competitive.

It does look to me like Kambosos does certain things better than Teo. Regarding Loma it is my theory that Loma was an old half injured blown up junior lightweight and that styles do make fights. If this theory is correct then not beating Lomachenko more impressively can be considered a sign of weakness.

what would kambo have done to loma then
Re: Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. | DAZN - November 27, 2021
Swarmed him, it's his only hope. George doesn't have the skills to use his height and reach on the outside against Loma. He would tough it out, throw as much leather as possible and hope to wear down Loma.
Fat chance, as they say in Oz. Be a good watch.

Lopez been living the high life lately.
It would be a mistake to take furious George lightly![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
