This card is looking like the planned Manchester undercard.
Seems an attempt to harm Sky PPV. Probably the Dazn strategy, will cost Sky buys considering the dross they are trying to put on Box Office.

You know connor Benn isnt a middleweight right?KiwiRider wrote: ↑03 Nov 2021, 02:10He is also a SLW not a middleweight.
His one shining moment was stopping Devon Alexander, but apart from that he is a proven second tier guy, perhaps even third tier now.
Heck knows what sort of middleweight he is going to make, and I'll believe it if and when it is officially announced![]()

Re: Conor Benn vs. TBA - 11 December 2021

Must say i'm in your camp on this one , , and whats more besides not really rating him , i just can't take too him either ,, the kid really believes his own publicity ,, i love a confident fighter who has put it on the line and come up with the goods ,, but can't take to this guy , who claims to be the best , then claims he's only learning depending on who puts the camera in his face , and who he's making excuses not to fight

Algieri has worked with Hearn.
He was probably the easiest to make a deal with.
Doesn’t really have any pop does he?
He fought once since beating Tommy Coyle didn’t he?

I suppose that’s a positive. Forgot Redkach was a possibility.

A 37 year old light welter with a 30% KO record? Headlining? fornicating hell. It’s like we are being trolled.
Hearn saying Benn isn’t ready for Ava next? Boxing. No wonder I have a passing interest these days.
Watch Benn bang out Chris in round 1 and scream “DAZN PPV baby” into the camera.
Love it.

Thing is a victory over Algeri doesn't set him up for Avanysyan does it?
He has faced a few genuine welterweights now to be fair but he has a hell of a lot of guys from the lower divisions on his record.

Don’t mind this. Benn and his team are saying he is “1 fight away” for a while and will for a while longer. This would be Benns best win to date, hard to shit on an opponent when it’s your best ever, keep fighting your best ever opponent eventually you will find your levle or fight for a world title.
Alger is old but not ancient. He has fought at 140 but also 147 and suspect he won’t be smaller than Connor in the ring.
When people were speculating about lopez I said it might be to big a step up, this is a decent in between. Win is good, stoppage is great, train rolls on.

It's not a bad fight but there's several domestic opponents that would be very intriguing fights also.
