Pernell was 5'6". Leonard was 5'5-1/2".
I actually see the shorter height of Leonard serving as an advantage to him vs Pernell. Sweet-Pea's dippsy-do defensive tricks would be Very Minimized vs Benny. SP's dippsy-do and other Slippery Manuevering attributes would be Much Less effective than they were vs the 5'7 JCC and the 5'10-1/2 Delahoya.
This bout just might wind up being quite similar to Barrera-Hamed, with Leonard being as effective as Barrera was vs Hamed. Probably though, likely it'd be slightly more competitive on Sweet Pea's behalf. Still,I'd have to favor Benny Leonard in this hypothetical. Likely a MD win.
