I was scoring what I thought the judges were scoring, rather than what was fair.
Canelo was below par, struggling with Plant's handspeed and awkwardness, but I still had him 3-4 rounds up...
like the judges did !

That’s truemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 Nov 2021, 00:36 closest anyones run canelo since ggg is still ol vodka breath kov
He's cleaning out a terrible 168 lb division. Reminds me a lot of Sergio Martinez. He's at least a P4P level fighter, unlike Martinez, but this is getting boring.
Goes to show you the level of competition at 168 if this is still true. Canelo vs. Ramirez seems like a no-brainer at some point, though.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 Nov 2021, 00:36 closest anyones run canelo since ggg is still ol vodka breath kov
He's looking better than he is because there is a lack of talent at 168. Fair play that he can make the weight, but this is a lot like Crawford at 140.caldo2025 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2021, 00:40 I had this fight close and apparently was the only one so I’m clueless scoring a Canelo fight.
Since Canelo/GGG II, Canelo learned to apply pressure every second of every round, he’s impossible to beat. No one can fight 12 rounds backing up. He’s as unbeatable as I’ve ever seen.
At least he’s knocking out everyone and we don’t need to see the putrid scorecards if we don’t want to.
fair range of scores i think, it wasnt some 10-0 canelo job but he was clearly ahead
96-94 was OK. 97-93 was possible. 98-92 was sh!t.
you may be right, certainly 175 is what i want to see him at now, the other smws just dont give the same interest.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑07 Nov 2021, 00:40Goes to show you the level of competition at 168 if this is still true.
