I mean, its a good fight, but PPV?
Really?
Nah...
From now on Tim tszyu will be ppv vs anyone. Him and huni will be the current generations boys making that big aus cash. Like Mundine and horn.(unless dazn make big moves in aus.)
Well he ain't PPV to me.
He is a prospect on his first go at an eliminator for a go at a champ. And not a great champ either.
I'm calling him Tim YouTszyu because I'll wait and watch him on YouTube. :OhYes:
Badda-boom!
I'm here all week.
His last few fights have been PPV. It doesn’t matter who he fights.

Oh, I didn't know that. I have only seen two of his fights, Hogan I watched on YouTube, and my man Bowan Morgan was free to air.
No way is an eliminator PPV. I like Tim, and think he is good enough for a belt, but I'll not be paying until he has a belt and goes to unify, and it has a decent undercard. In other words, never

Not alone, some of the Joseph Parker PPV undercards were worse than that, and the PPV for Cojanu was dearer than AJ vs Wlad :o

Jeff Horn: Tim Tszyu Had Heavier Punches Than Terence Crawford

Former world champion Jeff Horn has given high praise to the punching power of Australian star Tim Tszyu,

Horn's last fight took place in August of 2020, when he was battered and stopped in eight rounds by Tszyu.

During his career, Horn has faced a variety of respected names - including Manny Pacquiao and Terence Crawford.

Crawford stopped Horn in nine rounds in 2018 to capture the WBO welterweight title.

When it comes to sizing up Crawford and Tszyu, Horn explained that his countryman had the heavier hands.

“They’re two completely different fighters. I guess I had similar fighting style for both of them,” Horn said to Fox Sports.

“I thought I was just going to be able to ram-road Crawford, which wasn’t able to happen. So he ran me into punches. Same with Tszyu. But Tszyu had heavier, sharper shots I feel like. Well, maybe not sharper, but heavier shots than Crawford. So I think that’s the advantage he’s got. He’s just got size and boxing ability-wise, they’re both very similar.

“It (the body shots) was a hard thing in my fight (with Tszyu). But going through that fight, his body shots are definitely very, very good and were able to tire me extremely quickly. I probably puffed myself out trying to get rid of him early on in the rounds, and he just took advantage of all of it and maintained his composure and was able to get rid of me. I can say they hurt, so I hope Takeshi has been training his body. But the way he lands his shots to the body are second to none that I’ve fought.”

Tszyu will face another dangerous test in the coming day, when he collides with Japanese junior middleweight contender Takeshi Inoue on Wednesday, November 17.

Crawford is back in action a few days later, when he defends the WBO title against Shawn Porter on November 20 in Las Vegas.

Takeshi Inoue: I Absolutely Believe I Will Knock Tim Tszyu Out

Neither the road trip nor the longshot odds has Takeshi Inoue any less confident of shocking the world.

The former title challenger is a considerable underdog entering his showdown with unbeaten junior middleweight contender Tim Tszyu. FanDuel Sportsbook has Tszyu (19-0, 15KOs) has a -1200 betting favorite to prevail in their scheduled 12-round main event Wednesday at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Olympic Park, Australia. Inoue is regarded as a +700 underdog and even less likely to knock out the second-generation boxer.

Yet that is precisely what he is prepared to do.

“I recognize that Tim is an exceptional opponent,” Inoue acknowledged during the final pre-fight press conference. “I don’t expect it to be an easy fight. I will apply myself 100% and fight to knock him out.

“I absolutely believe I will knock him out.”

It’s a bold claim from the Tokyo native, whose only career defeat came in a January 2020 title bid versus unbeaten Jaime Munguia who held the WBO junior middleweight title at the time. Inoue—who turns 32 on December 1—held his own in his second career fight outside of Japan, even if the final scorecards (120-108, 120-108, 119-109) didn’t properly reflect the effort.

Four wins have followed, including an eight-round decision over unbeaten countryman Nath Nwachukwu last November at Korakuen Hall where the majority of his career has taken place. The upcoming fight with Tszyu (19-0, 15KO) is his fourth career bout on the road, having also fought twice in Thailand versus made-to-order competition.

Tszyu is currently riding a five-fight knockout streak and has been among the most active high profile boxers in the sport today. The 27-year-old Australian is fighting for the fifth time since the pandemic and is rapidly emerging as the face of boxing for his home country.

None of that resonates with Inoue, who embraces the challenge against whom he views as the perfect opponent to propel him back onto the title stage.

“It’s not at all that I see any weaknesses in him,” explains Inoue. “It has more to do with the game plan I have worked on with my trainer. Seeing many Tim Tszyu fights, I see a fighter who is made to order for me.

“This is my opportunity to return to the world championship stage. This is what I’ve worked for my entire career, to become a world champion. A win on (Wednesday) will bring me there.”

Weights: Tszyu hit the scales at 69.52kg (153.265 pounds) and Inoue registered 69.86kg (154.015 pounds).

I predict a merciful referee stoppage in 7.

Inoue is just too easy to hit.
The only concern for Tzyu is the rabbit punches that will be coming in clinches

Dreaming mate. As an Australian who wakes up at 5 am to go to work i am currently mentaly preparing myself to be violated by this card into staying up wayyyy past my bed time.

I remember watching jeff horn vs garry, it was a wensday fight that was ment to start 9:30pm and it was still going after midnight and the guys were trying to close the pub.

This is the opinion of a noone, but i think you can add a couple of hours to those ringwalk times.

I think DAZN have the time conversions wrong. They are saying 10pm AEDT time is 4am ET... but by my calculation (google) thats 6 am.. i think.

Yeah, it isn’t on my DAZN schedule. I am hoping to pick it up on Putin Propaganda TV (PPTV).
