Some of the biggest names in the sport will feature when D4G Promotions hold their latest star-studded event in Dubai next month - with Badou Jack, Rocky Fielding, Ohara Davies and Muhammad Waseem all in action.

The highly-anticipated card will take place at MotoSpace on Friday 26 November, and will be broadcast live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

In the main event, Golden Contract winner Ohara Davies (22-2, 16 KOs) faces a tough test against hard-hitting Ismael Barroso (23-3-2, 21 KOs) for the WBA Gold super-lightweight title, with the fight also serving as a WBA super-lightweight title eliminator.

Badou Jack (24-3-3, 14 KOs) will make his return, as the two-weight world champion looks to begin his quest towards claiming world honours in another division, as he moves up to cruiserweight to take on Johnny Muller (23-9-2, 14 KOs).

Pakistan hero Muhammad Waseem (11-1, 8 KOs) attempts to earn another world title shot too, with the current IBF #4 going up against former world title challenger Rober Barrera (23-3, 13 KOs).

Rocky Fielding (28-2, 16 KOs) is also back after over two years out, when the former super-middleweight world champion returns at light-heavyweight, with an opponent announced shortly.

Some of the best up-and-coming prospects will compete on the card too, as Bader Samreen (3-0, 2 KOs) returns against Digari Mahesh (4-1-1, 1 KO), Faizan Anwar (8-0, 4 KOs) takes on Viktor Plotnikov (33-13, 15 KOs), former Muay Thai fighter Joshua Ridgwell makes his professional boxing debut, and Sameer Anwar Pandya (3-0, 3 KOs) is in action.

Rocky Fielding Pumped To Snap Layoff, Ready For Dmitrii Chudinov Clash

Light heavyweight contender Rocky Fielding is gearing up for his ring return in Dubai on November 26.

The card will feature a variety of boxers, including former two-division world champion Badou Jack, Ohara Davies and Muhammad Waseem.

The D4G promotion will be carried live by ESPN+ in the United States.

Fielding will collide with former WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Dmitri Chudinov.

The contest will be the first for Fielding in two years - and only his second since getting knocked out by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

"I’m definitely looking forward to it and being in Dubai, with the surroundings, has given me a new lease of life. I was coming out to Dubai and Abu Dhabi quite regularly, and I remember being here in September 2020 and thinking to myself that I’d love to fight in Dubai. And now, with the way everything has turned out, it’s happening, which is really exciting," Fielding told The National.

"I’ve seen [Chudinov's] record and I know what he’s all about. I watched a video of him for about 30 seconds and that was it. When you get to this level, and you’ve been around boxing for a long time, you only need to have a quick look and you kind of know what type of opponent you’re up against.

"His brother, Fedor, is a good fighter, a former WBA super-middleweight champion who fought against George Groves. My next couple of fights after this one will probably be at a higher level, but with me being out for two years it was important I went back in with the right fight. Chudinov will come and give me a fight, which is what I need, I want someone who will take close shots and get his hands going. Towards fight week I’ll probably have a look at his style in the later rounds, but at the moment I’m just focusing on training full-on myself."

Badou Jack Pumped To Fight For First Time in Dubai

Two division world champion Badou Jack (24-3-3, 14 KOs) is pumped about being back in action against an opponent TBA on November 26th in Dubai, in a co-promotion between his Badou Jack Promotions and the newly launched promotion, Probellum.

Jack's bout will be his first in the Middle East featured on D4G's event as the co-main event in his 2nd fight at cruiserweight.

This will be the 3rd division in which Jack aims to capture a title in. In his first fight at cruiserweight, a catch-weight bout as the co-main event of the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones card featured on Triller, Jack cruised to a one sided decision against then unbeaten Blake McKernan.

"It feels great to finally be able to fight in Dubai in front of all my fans here and I'm excited to have Badou Jack Promotions launch another event in the UAE," Jack stated with enthusiasm. "We are planning for this to be the first of many more in the region.

"This is the second event Badou Jack Promotions is promoting here in Dubai and I'm very excited to be a part of the growth of boxing in the Middle East," concluded Jack, who will wear both a promoter and fighter hat for his first time ever on November 26th.

"We have some exciting news coming soon with more events in this region."

Jack has relocated his team to Dubai after receiving an honorary "Golden Visa" and has held the entire training camp there since early October.

“One of the many benefits of fighting under your own banner is having a cushioned budget for training camp. Badou has positioned himself strategically for a camp fee, fight fee and a promotional fee,” Badou Jack Promotions CEO Amer Abdallah added.

Golden Contract winner Ohara Davies (22-2, 16 KOs) faces a tough test against hard-hitting Ismael Barroso (23-3-2, 21 KOs) for the WBA Gold super-lightweight title, with the fight also serving as a WBA super-lightweight title eliminator.

'El Tigre' is a former WBA World interim lightweight champion, defeating Brit Kevin Mitchell for the title back in 2015, but failed to capture the full world title against Anthony Crolla in his next fight. Despite his advanced age of 38, he has won his last three fights, two by stoppage and one on a unanimous decision to become the first ever WBA Gold super-lightweight champion, but inactivity means the newly-formed title is now vacant once more.

'Two Tanks' is riding on a four-fight win streak after being outpointed by WBO No.1 Jack Catterall in 2018, who is about to face Davies' only other conqueror Josh Taylor in February for the Scot's four super-lightweight world titles. The outspoken Londoner had a debatable points verdict over Miguel Vazquez in 2019, but then entered the Golden Contract tournament and blasted through unbeaten American Logan Yoon in seven rounds in the quarter-finals, then prevailed in a fantastic fight with Jeff Ofori in the semis, stopping the Southern Area titlist in six, to set up a grudge match with bitter rival Tyrone McKenna, which 'OD' managed to win on a mixed decision.

The winner of this WBA Gold super-lightweight contest could face the winner of Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall next.

I think precocious is the word. The kid is super confident, very flashy, very talented. The other boy was good too but could barely land a punch.

Pretty decent main event, Waseem looked completely spent in R10 to the point where he could barely defend himself with exhaustion but he somehow came back firing in R11/12, scrappy at times with quite a bit of holding but also some nice exchanges, I thought the right man got the nod.

Never mind 38, I think Jack could beat Crossed another 10 years down the line to be honest not much learned from that one.
