It was yet another bad night for Eddie's stable. It just shows that even with DAZN type money, it ain't all black and white. Two world champs gone in one night, and pretty good proof his Euro cruiser champ ain't going further
He'll put some positive spin on it , god knows how though .

Bad night for the stable, but great night for the channel.
Big KO upsets - even from the women ?!

Great entertainment and a great excuse for what seem to be uncompetitive fights.

Bellew tried, and failed.
Harper will fail in a rematch, and Galahad will be plagued by that highlight reel KO for the rest of his life!
Was well impressed with a card I maybe wouldn't have watched if it wasn't a rainy sunday morning here.

I can’t stop replaying it. Absolutely terrific. Never a clearer illustration of the difference between euro and world level. Galahad just too cute, too casual.

He may never recover from this exposure.

Nah you can see Eddie strategises well. Martinez said himself he has an agreement with Matchroom. He will make Matchroom money in his next fight or two fights.

Eddie will manouvre the IBF title to Warrington, Galahad or Wood (obviously he might get beaten by Conlan.)

Worse for Galahad that Kiko looked like a little old bald man taking him out

Yeah - I thought he’d been good tonight too until that analysis.
He's talking about it now - seems reasonable.
Kid always had a great chin, never seen him floored, "you don't get a bad chin overnight".
It's not like he's deluded.

That punch was a finisher, but maybe Kid avoids it, or recovers quicker or something..?
Sure it’s a contributing factor but rather than going straight to that I think he should have credited Kiko and spoken more about Kid being complacent and having his left hand out of position when leaning back.

skanksta wrote: 13 Nov 2021, 19:31 I only just remembered Quigg annihilating Kiko in 2 - Kiko was totally shot then remember ? :maybe:

That was 6 and half years ago !
I thought he won the first against Quigg but got caught and stopped. It happens.

He then gave Warrington a really tough fight 3/4 years ago.

Will Kiko pass any post fight drug test I wonder? I’d imagine has training camp was fuelled by lots of test and steroids at his age.

Its infact a good night for Hearn, did Whites loss to Povetkin do any harm....no the opposite intact, got Dillian an even bigger pay day and another PPV.

Sounds like there is a rematch clause

And also I think everyone is signed to DAZN, if not Matchroom too

Can't imagine there'll be another Sheffield Matchroom card now for a while. Even Harper the main ticket seller got KO'd.

Yep really its, just made a mismatch all the more interesting and really Galahad will probably get his title back by the spring and get another "soft" defence later.

Biggest upset since AJ vs Ruiz and I see comparisons with Rahman vs Lewis... but difference here is I could see angles why you might think repeat for those two fights (AJ chinny, Lewis getting older) here I really cannot see any other result than an emphatic Galahad win. It was a punch from the Gods

Rematch the two main events and youd have a huge Sheffield card
