Fury is the greatest HW in recent years after Lennox Lewis

Post by 570991 »

But he needs to be tested against some skilled boxers like Usyk.

Wilder and Klitschko are two limited unskiled one trick ponies with only 2 punches in their arsenal - Fury is a god compare to those two. So is Usyk. Wlad had a great jab against small fighters and Wilder had a destructive right hand against bums , great.

But that's not enough for someone like Tyson Fury

We need Fury against someone who can actualy box

I don't know. I think that the fellow might genuinly be autistic or have some brain damage or something. He likes boxing and discussing his opinions and strangely enough some of his threads get loads of replies which sort of hints at the general intelligence level of the boxing fans present here so more power to him.

Is Fury the greatest hw boxer after LL? No that distinction belongs to Usyk since what Usyk has done so far can be categorized as real greatness. Fury has too much of a size advantage to put any of his achievements so far in the greatness category. And beating Usyk won't change anything.

What trolling?

Both Wilder and Klitschko are two limited one trick ponies. IN every fight they did same. 0 boxing ability , zero another plans.
Same thing all over again against bums.

When they faced someone decent and tall ( TAISON FJURY) they got schooled and had no asnwers.

TWO LIMITED glass jawed one trick ponies who bullied lesser fighters.

The kronk Fury massacres Klitschko inside 2 rounds

Ok, troll thread, but,

To say fury's achievements are minor because he has a size advantage is ridiculous. So if he'd have beaten valuev, that would mean more, I don't think so.

Were wlad and wilder limited in skill. Yes. Because this is the heavyweight division, they are huge men, with an enormous punch, and good athleticism.

Wlad had his era, 10 years or whatever it was, of domination. That's all you can ask for. Yes, a bit robotic.

Wilder. Has outrageous power, and somewhat clumsy skills.

Usyk's achievements are indeed great as well. It Just remains for the heavyweight division to be unified, and 1 king declared. Hopefully that can happen late next year after the semi finals:
Fury v Whyte
Usyk v Joshua

Valuev was part giant and part disabled person. He had acromegaly and was not able to utilize all of his size. Such huge size like Valuev and Fury enjoy is also a disadvantage on it's own cause getting better is just sooo pointless. You can whoop everyone, why do you need to get better? Anyway Fury turned himself into a pretty good boxer but his abilities are too much backed up by size for him to be considered great.
