They met three times in 1914, first on June 22 at Memphis, second time - at Hot Springs Athletic Club, Hot Springs, AR on October 27 (10-round no decision bout, which non-local Little Rock Arkansas Gazette reported in favor of Jackson), and third time on November 9 at Memphis.
