Lol true datTHEBUTCH wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 15:19 I know it's the free to view SkySports transmission on YouTube at the moment, but its piss poor quality.
A shite womens fight (surprise surprise), a complete pushover for a debutant and a lacklustre showing from Lawal against a hopeless Italian who is way too loose with no sharpness to his punching whatsoever.

The Italian's corner should be ashamed of themselves.
Their man did not to take that brutal KO - could be permanent damage - and for what ?![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

Poor fight, but that was a hell of right hand to finish the fight !

I didn't even realise Dan Azeez was fighting Hosea Burton tonight for the British light heavyweight title
Burton called it spot on a while back that Craig Richards wouldn't fight him and would relinquish the British title, but him against Azeez is a good match up.
Azeez has been brought along almost perfectly to this point and is as ready as he ever will be for a British title tilt.
To me, this is the main event and Azeez seems to have that unstoppable look about him (at this level) and pick him to beat Hosea, but I also expect Burton to push him all the way.

Can't see why Spider would be scared of Burton ?
I guess he must think the LLB and Burton are somehow beneath him now he's gone the distance with a very-flat-on-the-night World Champ.
Very Smigga Smith
He should be earning and learning by defending his Brit title imo.

To be fair to Burton (if my memory serves) I don't think he stated Richards was scared to fight fight him, but appeared disappointed/disapproving that he wouldn't and instead drop the title.
Burton isn't a wet behind the ears opponent like Pitters was and bring a lot of problems to the table for his opposition to get through.
It's Azeez's all round ability, solid punch, pressure & work rate topped off with a very level head that makes me think he'll prevail. Burton will make it tough no doubt.

Yeah it's a good fight and hard to pick the winner.
But it should be Richards defending against one then the other imo.
The British scene is a really good 2nd division to the world scene ATM.

First time watching this Boxxer Sky collab, wow the production is appalling. Music blaring over the pundits, Groves and Jonas as analysts?
Even the announcer is terrible. Adam Smith commentary creaming himself over everything
2 breaks already and it's barely started
And I haven't even got to the mismatches in the ring

Looked like he was fighting a bloke well down the weight divisions from him. Hate it when they feed smaller guys to so called prospects, cos we all know it's bollox.

The new Naseem Hamed claims Macklin and Adam Smith....

And the knockdowns were from back of the head punches.

Very fast hands and big support for Azim. And his brother.
Decent prospects.

Well that was my first look at Azim.
Have to see more before he goes on my prospect list. Big for the weight, good speed, good punch selection.
I think that's all, have to see how he goes with someone who punches back. Whenever that will be
