6-3 craw for me, easily coulda been 5-4

but i will never buy into that someone eventually scoring a stoppage means they shouldve been way up on the cards from rounds before that

Porter has said Bud is the best fighter he’s shared the ring with.

margaret thatcher wrote: 21 Nov 2021, 01:21 of course, bud always comes on strong in the end after starting slow, that doesnt mean we should just default him rounds from the start

he did next to nothing in round 1 as he took a look at porter, yet some dudes still ggave him the round! i think in cases like that, ppl are judging based on a preset view they have before the fight even starts
Maybe a little bit guilty of that, but I saw Bud doing what he wanted and getting closer to achieving his plan. That's Ring Generalship and I kept giving him close rounds on that basis.
Ya even the first.

Porter took 1, 8. The 6th was relatively close. Crawford was a much more effective boxer.

first round he was getting pushed back and mauled and hardly throwing anything. he always likes to take a look and regularly loses a couple early. to score him over porter in that round makes no sense. and crawford eventually stopping porter has 0 relation to it

Disagree with the scorecard, but holy crap does this forum not know a fight is scored round-by-round. Hilarious to see.

88-82 for me.

I was probably wrong about R1 seeing as everyone disagreed but I generally saw Bud doing what he wanted most rounds and thus nicking them - they WERE close.

Yes, he did. He showed Errol a lesson of dealing with the likes of Porter. Now Spence needs a personal lesson.

Shockingly similar cards I expected everything and anything from even to craw 8-1…

I had it 88-83 for Crawford. He was much faster than Porter, controlled the action and clearly outlanded Shawn. It lead to a logical ending.

Imagine a Dad putting his kid down like that after his boy just poured his heart out inside that ring. If I’m Shawn, I’m pissing in his scramby eggs in the AM and then I’m firing his ass.

I honestly can’t believe this guy Kenny Porter. He’s just that dick sports dad we all saw growing up that thinks it’s all about him. The world was going to congratulate Porter for this effort and a great career but now, we have that notion that Shawn was not putting the work required for this fight. I’m sick for the kid and I’ve never been a Porter fan.

TBH, I don’t think it would have gone the full 12 after that.

I agree though.

It’s never easy having your dad as trainer. Some are very sensitive.
