Pretty embarrassing stuff there, at least Andrade didnt let Quigley off the hook after the early knockdown in the 1st, hurt Quigley with a right hook then another bowled him over, big left hand dropped Quigley for the first KD in the 2nd, quality punch then bludgeoned him down for the finish, no real durability from Quigley, a gross mismatch

Why did he keep moving to his right. Even novice amateurs know to keep moving left v a southpaw. Don’t get it. Really liked Quigley as an amateur at the worlds. Was v impressed with his performance and attitude. Maybe just not cut out for elite level
Pro game.

No way Quigley should have been thrown in there with Andrade .
He's record doesn't suggest he's anywhere near that level and the top boys in the division will take nothing from it .
Done nothing for either's careers .

The statement also revealed that Quigley suffered a broken jaw in the first round, no doubt hampering his chances to compete with the heavily favoured American.

“Firstly I would like to thank everybody for the amazing support I had for this fight it was unbelievable and something I will be forever grateful for.

I want to apologize to everyone that I didn’t give you more excitement and wasn’t able to put up more of a fight believe me I wanted to, I’m hurting most because I didn’t get the chance to show my full worth and give it more.

I suffered a broken jaw in the first round and now it’s time to head home get it sorted and healed. Then we look at what’s next.

Congrats @boobooandrade on the victory and I hope you get those big fights you deserve.

Thank you to my family my team and everybody that helped me along my journey to here, I had one of the best experiences of my life right up until the fight but that’s boxing it’s a brutal sport and maybe that’s why we love it.”

Not ideal but it wouldn't have made much difference such was the gulf in class.
i think the lee thing was due to covid restrictions , lee also missed his last fight too i think, but has lee boxed in america most of his career so
