Am I right in thinking that the Marsh/Warren fallout happened after a world title fight for Marsh was cancelled when he went public about the fact he suffered from epilepsy and had hidden the fact from the Board. If memory serves me right did Marsh claim in the Sunday newspaper who covered the exclusive that Warren knew of his epilepsy ??
You're right, Jim. Marsh had just signed to defend against the American Frankie Warren when he declared that he was (and presumably still is) an epileptic in a national newspaper. I don't think Marsh ever came out and said categorically that Warren knew of his epilepsy but he stated on Midweek Sports Special in 1989 that he 'told everybody who needed to know' of his condition, after which Warren sued him for libel (and lost).

bloody hell, did someone frame the court findings?
I think Fwank still has a sturdy, European level record in the courts. That book he got pulped, The Lords of the Ring, went into detail. Some bad allegations away from boxing. I've got it somewhere, probably my dad's attic. Interesting book.

He’s been KO’d a good few times. Had to Phoenix his company several times to avoid paying people.
There’s also been a couple where he’s claimed victory but the reality was different.

He folds them on purpose! It's the oldest trick in the book.

Marsh is definitely a head case. His book is weird
He's certainly had an interesting life, Royal Marine, fireman, top amateur boxer, pro boxer, prime suspect in a attempted murder, tried his hand at politics, bit of acting, wrote a book, does his chess-boxing and was a stockbroker too.

Of course he does but you only do it if you want to avoid paying people.
It’s a pain in the arse to do it though and there can be repercussions. The boxers will be signed to a company promotionally and I’ve that company folds/restarts the fighters will be within their right to move on and broadcasters will be able to renegotiate.
