I had 3 separate emails asking if I wanted my bet cancelled as the fight got delayed and rescheduled.
I just believed in Kambosos Jr. I have been following him for 3 & 1/2 years and had him on my prospect list. He didn't start out that impressive, but just got better every single fight, and was tough enough to hang with any 135er.
He will learn from that fight, and be even better next time out, that's just how he is.

He looked slick against Selby, plenty of attitude and swagger too as well as skills there. I definitely thought he'd make a fight of it against Lopez, but didn't think he'd actually win

This lying SOB said he had a leg injury during this Loma fight. What a con man Lopez is. I turned 180 degrees on him last night. That post fight deluge of delusion was too much

Just watched it with the wife.

It was beautiful. Great to see two fighters absolutely slug it out, with hardly any fouling.

But you could tell straight away Teo was in to deep emotionally. He stormed outta his corner on the first bell like he was about to obliterate Kambo instantly.

Yo don’t ever do that, who ever does that in the high stakes pro game ? NO ONE.

The lead up told it all, the biggest ego, with the most to lose.. Kambo was calculated, calm, totally, totally zoned in. His defence was superior, his foot work was on point. The fact that he had overriding success with his overhand right showed that Teo wasn’t paying the right amount of attention, to busy being emotionally knees deep and just looking for fastest kill.

Not happening, didn’t happen. His stinking reaction during post fight interviews, was a big fluffy ball of ego-spunk. I even think some of it got poor Kambo in his left eye, that was just not needed.

As for that cheese bag Eddie Hearn, his grin was so big it was illuminating off Kambo’ forehead.

The Selby fight was similar in a way, one judge gave it to Selby so it goes in the record as a SD, as does this one. I thought George won them both clean. So probably not as close as the record suggests

That was an incredible win.
For GFK to win he had to fight better than anything he'd ever shown before AND Teo have off night.
Both happened. He was incredible - way better than I thought he could be.

And he deserves credit for his pre-fight antics. He clearly wound Teo up big time. He was looking for a highlight reel KO from R1 and could never quite back to peak performance.

I agree that Teo is not focused on this fight. His mind seems to be on everything but this fight. Everybody but Team Kambosas seem to be overlooking the Aussie.

The fame that has come with his victory over Lomassiah seems to have gone to Teo’s head. He has talked mad about everyone and everything.

Kambosas is a legit threat if Teo is not on top of his game. George is a solid boxer with good quickness that he utilizes well with sharp combinations. He seems very focused.

Still, even a less than focused Lopez may be too much for him. Teo has called an early stoppage. If he does not get it I think that Kambosas could work his way to a decision victory. I doubt that George can stop him.

I am still going with Lopez by decision.
