Cograts Kambosos Jr! Brave warrior with a strong will!

Post by apollo creed »

Kambosos Jr beat the man who beat the man @ 135! Big Kudos!

I wonder if Lopez has a solid rematch clause for this fight? If not, karma worked well.

Kambosos vs Haney next?!

Loma vs Lopez II?

There was no rematch clause and Lopez doesn't deserve it either.

Haney fights Diaz in a week and big lips can be slapped there. Kambosos vs Diaz sounds interesting too, but Diaz isn't very likely to be the first in the consideration.

Loma fights Commey in two weeks and he'll most likely handle Commey without much troubles. Lomachenko is the biggest opponent for Kambosos today. I'd pick this fight.

In the next 14 days.
Haney, Loma and Tank are all in fights.

Add Teo and Kam who just fought.

That’s the main guys at 135..

Surely in spring next year we’ll see at least one fight between these guys.

All of them are matched tough, I wouldn't sleep on a upset in any of their fights. Loma is getting old and Commey can box and has good power. Diaz is tough and could give Haney everything he can handle. Tank is in with a guy that puts on a ton of pressure and could make it a extremely uncomfortable night. 135 could get shook up in the next couple weeks, I wouldn't be sleeping on these underdogs. I think Haney might have the best chance of impressing, can't wait.

Cruz is still borderline top 10 and been improving alot. I still feel with Cruzs toughness and pressure, he could pose some problems for tank.

Loma and Tank are quite big favorites in their next bouts. Haney-Diaz is close to 50-50.

Congrats to Kombosos! I was so wrong, but glad he won.

Looking forward to him fighting Haney next, if Haney wins.

Commey is older than Loma and has been in a lot of tough fights.

Me too! I thought Lopez would stop him but man when you've sparred so much rounds with Pacquiao , you have to be a very good fighter.

Ive finally watched it. I am surprised and impressed. Definitely did not saw that coming. Kambosos had answers for everything that came from Lopez. Most impressive part of fight is last 3 rounds, Kambosos handled hard knockdown and fought almost 2 minutes badly hurt, then outboxed and outmuscled Lopez in championship rounds like a boss. Btw am i only one who think Lopez was well over 150 lbs in ring ? Looked montrous for lightweight. And that back tatoo is one of ugliest ive ever saw :D

As they should be heavy favorites, just like Teo was against Kambosos. I expect them all to win, was just pointing out, none of them necessarily have easy touches and are all going against top 10 guys. Anything can happen.

Cruz is capable of jumping all over Tank early and making it a very tough fight, but I expect Tank to eventually settle in and time some big shots and end it. I don't think it will come easily though.

Commey is nice enough, he's capable of catching Loma if Loma has any lapses. Although I would be less shocked if Loma does a Walter's type number on Commey, but again Commey is capable under certain circumstances.

I feel Haney will box to a comfortable decision against Diaz, but Diaz brings that Mexican heart and a decent skill set. If he's able to get Haney on the ropes and not allow Haney to outbox him from the outside, he has a outside chance to win a points decision, or possibly even break Haney down and stop him.

Indeed Kambo was a warrior and he was very resilient and composed. He fought like there was no tomorrow.

On the other hand Lopez was fighting the wrong way trying to take Kambo's head off from the 1st round. Lopez should've stayed patient , jabbing, feinting and countering.

I'm very curious to see if Haney or Garcia will really fight Kambo?!

"Over the course of three years, Kambosos was the chief sparring partner for Pacquiao, a living legend of the sport. During that time, the pair sparred 250 rounds, the Australian preparing boxing’s only eight-division world champion for some of the biggest fights of his career."

So, this win was not just a fluke.

Definitely not a fluke mate. I won some bucks on Kambo, he was ridiculous at 6/1. hi style was going to trouble Lopez as he is relentless and doesnt go backwards for too long. Its well deserved as are the accolades he is finally receiving worldwide and in Australia

Correct no fluke Kambosas can fight ,,, I know its easy to say AFTER the event , but i had a feeling there was a chance he could do it , to be honest never thought he would do it with skills , in fact i thought Lopez had more skills and technique , i just believed what Kambosas had been saying that Lopez was'nt focused , while he was travelling around being world champ playboy , George was training like a madman , and i knew that Aussie toughness and rawness they can bring could tip the scales ,,, But like i said i was,nt convinced he would do it but thought he had a chance ,, so much so , my son in law asked me a few days earlier , and i told him have a couple of dollars on George , apparantly he put 500 bucks on him at 6 to 1 , , tight bastard has,nt even bought me a beer  , Should of done it myself except i'm too tight to gamble , i hate losing money more than i like winning it

Good on Kambosas , it was a suprise but not a shock .
