Now I'm hoping he loses, although I understand if he's got a fight lined up with Taylor, why not. He's a big 135lber, and could probably fight at welter too.
Well, I'd like to see Lopez whooping Haney but Taylor is the Kingpin at 140! Teo beat the man at 135 and now he wants to fight the man at 140! Teo is daring to be great unlike Haney, Garcia and Tank. :box:

teo would show brass balls by moving up to fight taylor, far bigger challenge than haney

jo jo diaz actually signed to fight haney, and even he was supposedly ducking
I've never claimed to always be positive, but at least I'm honest.
I want to see boxers take on the best challenges, not avoiding them with bogus excuses.

Pac has had a hof career, and that horse (of ped accusations) has been beat to death. I stand by everything I've said on that.

Diaz did sign to fight Haney, finally after his 1st choice fell through, and dragging his feet. He could win too, just glad they're fighting.

I agree 100%. Teo takes challenges, for sure. I personally thought Loma would beat him. Josh Taylor is an excellent boxer...classic matchup.

I know what your saying, but this is boxing in the 21st century, talk is cheap and twitter is bollocks.
Wait and see what he actually signs up to do. Tank dabbled at 140 and didn't fight Taylor..

Did I fall asleep and wake up on Sunday morning? Did Teo win by stoppage or decision? :maybe:

Btw, tonight’s DAZN included a really good 8 rounder, Solomon v Silva, both undefeated going in.

Fierro stopped Bielma for the first time. Fierro is solid fundamentally and has heavy hands.

Everyone here is like "Wow Teo beat p4p Loma, he must be really great". My version if this is: Teo beat blown up, injured ancient featherweight Loma expect him to get beat by a good lightweight in Kambosos.

I want Kambosos to win, and it is possible as we know Lopez has fights were he looked like crap vs Nakatani but then he has fights where he looks great, see Commey and Lomachenko in fights Lopez looked awesome,

I think hand speed is the big difference I think Lopez has too much hand speed in which to deliver his bombs on Kombosos chin and that will be the difference.

Kambosos outboxed Lopez pretty handily. Just lost focus for a moment. 8-4 in rounds. The Lopez score is nonsense, Lopez doesn't deserve a rematch. Loma should be given a shot after winning Commey.

Great win for George. A real warrior in there tonight. Also he was right to praise his corner, they were outstanding. Clear, concise, tactical instructions. Just what was needed.

Contrast it with Teo's dad 'fornicate this mutherfucker up' and i think the respective cornerwork definitely helped George.

Some huge fights out there for Kambosos now, Haney, Tank even Loma will fancy a piece of him.

Lopez Sr in the corner was some sort of a joke. Shades of Norman Stone in the corner of John Ruiz.

Terrific fight. I had Kambosos winning it by a couple of rounds but while waiting for the scores I was expecting Teo to get the decision and I was ok with that. It wouldn't have been a robbery and hometown decisions are a way of life, we know that.

So massive credit to the judges as well as both fighters. Respect also to posters who said Kambosos would win or even that he would make a real fight of it. I didn't know what to expect from him. I know now. :salut:

I’m looking forward to seeing what Bob says about this - whether he back Teo and claims he won the fight or comes up with an excuse. He always claimed it was a gross mismatch.

He also signed Teo up for higher guarantees. They may change with a loss but it makes the Taylor fight not as big now.

What a great upset, can't say I'm disappointed based on how Teo and his dad acted post Loma win. Great to see another great talent in a already heated division in Kambosos, he showed amazing heart and grit. Not super surprised either, I had a feeling Kam was a live underdog based on what I seen of him leading into the fight. He had a calm confident demeanor while Teo and his dad were all over the place with their emotions. I actually think this is the best thing to happen to Teo, although his post fight interview was cringe AF, kid didn't seem humbled at all. I expect Teos next fight to be at 140. "The takeover" didn't even manage 1 title defense lol, sorry, but that shyts funny.

Great win for George Kambosos what an amazing effort, talk about give it your all and be dedicated.
He earned and won that fair and square, superb performance he deserves all the credit in the world.
His speed and timing were excellent, left hook and straight right were beautiful, I didn't think he was that skilled but he was last night.
