I was rooting for Fig.

Scored it 114-114 myself.

116-112 wasn’t not expected.

are the compubox guys watching the tv feed or at ringside?

because if they dont have tv views, i cant see how theyd be very effective at all at counting punches landed in such close quarters like this fight happened

I'd like to see Fulton go to 126 and fight Gary Russell.

I would prefer Fulton v Alimkhanuly for undisputed 122.

Looked to me all night that Fulton was consistently landing the harder punches while Fig was asserting himself well and pressuring Fulton.

Stephen never faded minus a minute or two from a wicked body barrage in the middle of the fight.

Thought Fulton won it but dang good fight. Can’t wait to watch Figueroa in there again. Dude is a great fighter with a rock solid chin.

Aleem by 1 round. I have had him on my prospect watch list because of the showreel KOs.
Not any more. That fight exposed a guy who, when he cannot blast you out, has zero answers.
Very disappointed.

But I work hard to keep my LGBTQIA, etc., soup sorted. ;-)

Finally got around to watching this after it was uploaded on YouTube a couple days ago and it didn't disappoint, great action from start to finish, I had Fulton ahead 115-113 but no qualms with a draw or Figueroa edging it, good clash of styles, Fulton the sharper boxer, some nice cut counters, the left hook worked well and the jab when he used it, he had success up close as well with the uppercuts but was better midrange, Figueroa's body work made him hold his feet more than he would like, Figueroa was relentless especially with his attacks to the body, just kept pounding away with both hands, making Fulton fight all night, he stunned him late as well, Figueroa always worked hard last moments of every round trying to steal them and he did manage it a few times but for me Fulton's cuter work and shot selection won it for me just

It was a good action packed fight.
Believe it or not, but Brandon has had a higher work rate than that. I think the covid took a bit out of him, he is usually relentless until the other bloke succumbs or the final bell tolls.
I expect him to come back strong, too young to write off.
