Did cooney hit foreman with any decent shots . Did foreman ever taste the full power of cooney?.

Cooney landed several flush left hooks on George in the first round and actually staggered Foreman a little.

Foreman came back in the 2nd and knocked Gerry out with a highlight reel uppercut

Cooney looked tremendous in that fight while he was on his feet. Cooney was very fast for such a tall guy and he was very creative with his left hand. He was miles ahead of George in terms of skill. He just could not handle that big power. George ko'd him with a high-light reel Left uppercut/ right hand combo.

George admitted that Cooney hit him with some good shots. It actually was shaping up to be a good fight for the short time it lasted.

George's finish against Cooney was the coolest exhibition I've ever seen. The way he casually strolled to the centre of the ring, took a slight step to his right and unleashed that brutal short uppercut followed by a downward bomb. To watch Cooney fall was surreal...all 79 inches of him
