Ryan vs Kambosis
Ryan vs Kambosis
Oscar and Ryan were calling out Kambosis right after the win. Ryan is the hardest hitter. Fasteat and biggest of all the LWs. It would be a good fight but I think everyone is calling Kambo out because they see his vulnerability, they feel like most that Teo was just off big time.
Ryan would land that sniper like left either to the body or chin and it’s goodnight for Kambo.
If Oscar Is serious about that one he better get aggressive because every promoter will look to try and get that fight against what most see as a vulnerable champ.

Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Ryan is the rawest among possible contenders, Kambo will handle him.

Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
is ryan still training and putting in dat hard work at the shrink's?
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Sig bet that if that fight happens Ryan stops Kambosis. Ryan is the hardest hitter at LW and the fastest kid is huge for the division.
Just like people were saying Luke would beat Ryan because he gave Loma a tough fight are saying the same thing now. Yet Ryan knocked out Luke with a single shot something loma never came close to doing.
Ryan catches kambosis(who has gotten a bit overrated quickly after the fluke Teo win). Brutally
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
I think that too.
When Teo was laying it on Kambo, he was getting countered beautifully, including the one that knocked him down.
Ryan doesn't have a lot of finesse, Kambo will be back at him with counters. And if Luke Campbell can drop Ryan, you can bet Kambo can do it as well.
Still a fight I would like to see, and I would not count Garcia out by any means.

Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Ryan would have to offer big money to get a shot, But ryans team should be willing to pay big money, if they think he can win (which he is definatly a good chance) its a smart investment.
Personaly i want to see Kambo vs Garcia or Kambo Vs Loma. But i would absolutly be fine with Tank, Haney, or shakur.

Garcia can punch and so what? Wilder also could punch, where's he now?TonyJ wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 01:41Sig bet that if that fight happens Ryan stops Kambosis. Ryan is the hardest hitter at LW and the fastest kid is huge for the division.

Loma doesn't have huge power, but it was barely possible to give Campbell a round against him. Garcia was a favorite against Luke actually. Yet Ryan sat on his butt for a while. Fighting a living body doesn't equal to beating a can or to posing on social network with shadowboxing and punching bags.
Garcia brings some obscurity, he has potential, but he is unproven. It's possible to give him chances against Kambo, but up to the date George is a clear favorite.
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Until further notice Ryan Garcia is a head case. A head case is not going to beat King George, as we witnessed last night. Ryan Garcia needs to prove that he still wants to box. I am not the only one not convinced of that.
Kambosos should take the biggest money option. The Haney v Diaz winner will fit that bill, imo, and it brings the undisputed prize.

Wilder is a bad example to use when discussing that punching isnt everything.... He had an 11 fight heavyweight title reign based on being able to whack alone and has only been beat by what many claim to be the best heavy since lewis.DrDuke wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 02:33Garcia can punch and so what? We will call it Horn Syndrome.
Any opponent, held in Oz is a PPV stadium fight over there. Enough to generate a multi million purse.
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
In that case it depends on who is willing to go there to fight him. That will edit the list considerably.KiwiRider wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 02:54I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter too much who he fights.ironbeard wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 02:50 Until further notice Ryan Garcia is a head case. He can pretty much pick any Lightweight with a million bucks, Loma would take it. Garcia has psychiatry bills racking up...
Seriously though, he could pick and choose, even play it safe.
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Jeff Horn made obscene money after that one "win" over Pac.
Australia backs their guys, and Kambosos is the most successful boxer out of Oz this century.
Any fight in Australia will generate enough money to buy the opponent of his choice.

Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Wilder is an excellent example for that, if to watch his fights, not only to look at his record. The quality of his resume is obviously less impressive than quantity. Among fighters defeated by him, only few had a legit claim to the top. Ortiz, Stiverne, Breazeale and that's it. The others were fringes at best. And out of 30 rounds against Fury he won only about 5. Wilder was able to enter the elite level only because of his right hand and delivering abilities.gregregegg wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 02:54Wilder is a bad example to use when discussing that punching isnt everything.... Of course he will have fighters who will take it. There will also be those who won’t go there. I doubt that Haney, Tank and Shakur will go over there to put their 0’s on the line for “a million bucks.”KiwiRider wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 03:01Want a million bucks?

Lomassiah might not even take it. Crawford did not go Down Under to take Horn’s belt.
More than one boxer will be willing to go there though.
Re: Ryan vs Kambosis
Let's take Tank out of the picture straight away, they don't risk him against any genuine champion.ironbeard wrote: ↑29 Nov 2021, 09:43Of course he will have fighters who will take it. Haney and Shakur, your right, take more than a million. But if want a belt, George has 3.
The worst case scenario is George stays in Oz, fights second tier guys and rakes in piles of cash, holding 3 belts to ransom. It is the modern way. All the orgs get a nice fat wedge from his cut of a big payday and will allow the #3-10 guy to be the mandatory, as long as George keeps getting the big paydays.

im not really sure george is gonna become some aussie king now who can lord over the belts down under
does anyone have options on him?
i bet he has absolute max 1 fight in aus before he's back in the usa vs a serious threat the guys with the biggest money to offer him arent looking to build him a lengthy reign in aus

not laughing at anyone's mental health my man, laughing at the idea that a guy who can't even stay in the game is just gonna easily blast out everyone right now when he's not even in a position to fight
i wish ryan well, but 'mental health hiatus' is one of the last places anyone should be talking smack from !
if i hurt his or your feelings, my sincere apologies though, balls

Kambosos is big now. He wasn’t joking about 80,000 at Sydney. China flu permitting of course.
Heck, bloody Timmy Tzyu is ppv down here
George could stay down under picking low hanging fruit for at least two years, as long as the orgs get a cut of his purse they will be happy, who else will they make that sort of money from?
