Would Murata, Munguia and Eubank Jr be better wins than 2013 Quillin, 2012 Martinez and 2012 JCCJr for GGG?

Would Murata, Munguia and Eubank Jr be better wins than 2013 Quillin, 2012 Martinez and 2012 JCCJr for GGG?
Lets say 40 y/o G beats Murata, Munguia and Eubank Jr. They would be better wins than 2013 Quillin, 2012 Martinez and 2012 JCCJr or they are on a par?

At 40? Bigger, obviously. But they are not as big as his domination of Canelo in the first fight.apollo creed wrote: ↑22 Nov 2021, 11:24 Lets say 40 y/o G beats Murata, Munguia and Eubank Jr. They would be better wins than 2013 Quillin, 2012 Martinez and 2012 JCCJr or they are on a par?

Are you saying that GGG beating Murata and Eubank Jr. at almost forty years of age would be a more impressive feat than a thirty-year-old version of Golovkin defeating legitimate world champions, such as Quillin, Martinez & Chavez Jr?
If so, the problem I have is that neither Eubank Jr. nor Murata have ever emerged victorious in a legitimate world title fight.
And Jaime Munguia has never defeated a world-rated opponent at 160lbs. He’s unproven.
I guess if Golovkin superficially looks impressive against Murata and Eubank Jr., then he’d deserve a certain amount of kudos for appearing world-class at his age, even though I suspect he’s slipped a fair bit, hence the reason why he won’t face Andrade and Charlo – he just wants the Canelo payday to fund his retirement.
Jaime Munguia won't be facing GGG anytime soon, he appears to be going down the WBC route.

They are equally good names, but Murata, Munguia and Eubank would be bigger achievement considering GGG is 40 years old and went downhill after Canelo rematch

You're not seriously suggesting that the current iterations of Murata, Munguia and Eubank Jr. are on the same level as prime versions of legitimate world middleweight champions, such as Quillin, Martinez and Chavez Jr.?

Yup. There is a solid reason why in 2015, Canelo didn't fight G.

Indeed I also think that 2013 Quillin, 2012 Martinez and 2012 JCCJr are not much better fighters than Munguia, Murata or CEJr. Also for G beating these guys at 40 is a bigger achievement.

Munguia and Murata are 6′ 0″+ big strong MW's. They would beat JCCJr and Quillin.

Actually Mung and Murata are more skilled fighters than Quillin and JCCjr.
G is 40 and he's still fighting young hungry lions that want to take his head!

Quillin vs. Hassan N'Dam?
• Sergio Martinez - Former RING middleweight champion, RING fighter of the year 2010, scored RING knockout of the year 2010, faced nine world champions and competed in six world middleweight title fights against the likes of: Miguel Cotto; Martin Murray; Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.; Paul Williams; and Kelly Pavlik
• Peter Quillin - Five world middleweight title fights against the likes of: Daniel Jacobs; Lukas Konecny; Gabriel Rosado; Fernando Guerrero; and Hassan N'Dam. Quillin was also ducked by GGG.
• Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - Five world middleweight title fights against the likes of: Sergio Martinez; Andy Lee; Marco Antonio Rubio; Peter Manfredo; and Sebastian Zbik.
• Ryōta Murata - never engaged in a legitimate world title fight.
• Jaime Munguia - never engaged in a legitimate world middleweight title fight.
• Chris Eubank Jr. - never engaged in a legitimate world middleweight title fight.

From EO's Word C&P:
"• Peter Quillin - Five world middleweight title fights against the likes of: Daniel Jacobs; Lukas Konecny; Gabriel Rosado; Fernando Guerrero; and Hassan N'Dam. Quillin was also ducked by GGG.
• Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - Five world middleweight title fights against the likes of: Sergio Martinez; Andy Lee; Marco Antonio Rubio; Peter Manfredo; and Sebastian Zbik."
Quillin-who got TKO'ed by Jacobs and JCCJr-a 26 y/o smw fighting at mw who got battered by a 37 y/o Martinez.
Truly GOATS!

I don't remember G being TKO'ed ever or losing to Chenko or Jacobs. Also Murata stopped in rematches Hassan and Brant.
Quillin got TKO'ed by Jacobs and G defeated Jacobs. Thats a fact !
After the JCCJr fight, Martinez got beat by Murray and 2 years later Murray got obliterated by GGG. Fact!

Japan has closed its borders to foreign visitors due to COVID-19.
The GGG-Murata fight won't do as well commercially if it's staged elsewhere (or without an audience attending ringside), which means the bout could either be postponed or cancelled.
The inactive GGG needs to eventually face his mandatory challenger at some point, assuming DAZN sanctions the bout, meaning that Gennadiy will either have to face Patrick Wojcicki or Esquiva Falcao in the near future or risk being stripped of his IBF title.
Apparently, during May, DAZN refused to allow GGG to engage in a ring-rust clearing stay-busy August bout against Esquiva Falcao, because the Brazilian wasn’t a big enough name.
So it'll be interesting to see how things pan out.

In Japan it's a mega fight. That is the point.
Atm there is no bigger fight at mw than GGG vs Murata. The winner may face Eubank Jr.

did he ever actually get named mandatory? i saw lots of stuff saying he 'may' get named mandatory but dont recall any official declaration that he is now mandatory
anyway, mandatories can wait and the murata-geej winner will have belts to play around with as they see fit, bring on mung!

Anyway if Mung will fight Chenko and beat/stop him then G vs Mung is a very good fight.
