Mayweather by mid/late stoppage and casamayor hitting the deck about 3 times due to floyds timing and was stopping a lot of people at the lower weights , as much as I loved casamayor was with that southpaw left and his fights with corralles Marquez and katsidis floyd just too much

Exactly as I see it. Floyd was a beast at the lighter weights

floyd wide decision or late stoppage, but im not so gung ho as others on the stoppage

he's been revised into some aggressive big puncher at the lower weights, he wasnt that at all and a lot of ppl really need to go back and get another look.

he was more aggressive and hurtful, but still very much a cautious boxer whose first focus was waiting for counters. he still went backwards and had his back to the ropes regularly. he had loads of guys he couldnt stop or had to absolutely hit tons because he didnt have more than average at best pop. maybe ppl just cant get corralles fight out and all the kds of their heads.

I’m not saying he was a big puncher or one punch beast but he definitely stopped a lot of opponents at the lower weights and casamayor I feel would have been stopped although it wouldn’t of surprised me if it was 119-108 kind of score

oh ya, didnt mean you in particular dan my man, just that i notice a lot that when ppl discuss floyd in the lower weights..........him having been a bigger puncher/more aggressive than he was later in his career has over time morphed into him actually having been a big puncher and aggressive

even at his lowest , he was always a cautious pure boxer, never with more than average power, but obviously hugely gifted in other ways. he could defo hurt casa and stop him late, but i lean toward decision

Casa was really inconsistent but at his best he was better than corrales and castillo (he was jobbed against castillo)

The best casa definitely survives and wins rounds.

He was not better than Castillo, and lost fairly to him. It was a competitive fight, but I thought Castillo justly deserved a 115-113 decision, and the way it ended it looked like he may well have stopped Casamayor had there been a 13th round.
