Re: Isaac Lowe vs Luis Alberto Lopez | IFL tv - 3 December 2021
Lowe could be ahead if he had a boxing brain, but he's ridiculously greedy and overestimating his capabilities..

Lopez fighting like El Maravilla at the end of the 6th. Lowe fighting like Hitler's Eastern Front Campaign.
Edit - corrected that. Gave it to wrong guy. Lopez definitely wobbled Lowe.

Re: Isaac Lowe vs Luis Alberto Lopez | IFL tv - 3 December 2021
Lowe is down for a 3rd time and out !
Great fight, but Lowe lacked the power and nous. He never stopped trying to win.

Lowe was starting to hold on quite a lot there before the final knockdown. I liked the look of Lopez. I'd give him the beating of Kiko and Galahad.

That was my first thought after the finish, very fan friendly in theory! Lopez looks to have good power, Lowe gave it a real go but couldn't make a dent in Lopez, entertaining fight.

It was the first time I’d seen Sugar Shy Defrietas on the undercard. He was fighting a poor journeyman but I was impressed with his punch selection - he had a lovely left hook to the body.
2 fights and 2 stoppages against guys who the bulk of the time last the distance. One to keep an eye on I think.

Luis Alberto Lopez Takes Out Isaac Lowe in Seventh of IBF Eliminator
In an IBF final eliminator at featherweight, Luis Alberto Lopez (24-2, 13 KOs) generated three knockdowns to eventually score a seventh round knockout of unbeaten Isaac Lowe (21-1-3, 6 KOs), who was led to the ring by close friend and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
The Mexican slugger now finds himself in line for a world title shot at newly crowned world champion Kiko Martinez - who last month captured the title with a stunning upset knockout of Kid Galahad.
Lopez was coming off his big decision win, when he battered and nearly stopped hot prospect Gabriel Flores in September.
In the early seconds of the first round, Lopez dropped Lowe with a rapid left hook. Lowe beat the count, with Lopez going right after him. Lowe was fighting fire with fire and was able to get out of trouble as both boxers were exchanging a lot of punches.
They continued to trade punches in the second, with Lopez scoring a second knockdown with a counter right. Once again, Lowe got to his feet and began to fight fire with fire as they traded shots for the remainder of the round.
More action in the third, with Lowe throwing a lot of punches. Lopez was missing a lot, but appeared to buzz Lowe at the end of the round. They were trading away in the fourth, with Lowe having the edge. During the fifth, Lowe was still outworking Lopez, but the Mexican fighter was connecting with the harder punches. There was some wild punches being thrown by Lopez in the sixth. Lowe was connecting with solid counters. Lopez was landing good punches, but he was wild and missing a lot.
Lopez was doing better in the seventh, as he was pushing Lowe back by throwing punches in bunches. Lowe got tagged with several hard shots to the head and body that sent him down for a third time - and this time Lowe was unable to beat the count in time as the referee waved off the fight.
Welterweight prospect Elliot Whale (5-0, 1 KO) won a six round unanimous decision over Miroslav Serban (13-8). The sole was 60-54.
Former world champion Charlie Edwards (17-1, 9 KOs), now at super flyweight, crushed Jacob Barreto (13-4) in the second round with a big left hand. Edwards landed solid left hook to send Barreto down for the full count.
Junior middleweight prospect Inder Bassi (5-1, 0 KO) won a four round unanimous decision over Yasif Mamedov (2-7). The sole score of 40-36 was handed in.
Welterweight prospect Shiloh Defreitas (2-0, 2 KOs) crushed Dario Borosa (1-17) in the first round after scoring two knockdowns with body shots.
Bantamweight Nina Hughes (1-0) made her pro debut with a six round unanimous decision over Claudia Ferenczi (20-86-8). Hughes handed out a beating on Ferenczim, with right hands landing often in just about every round. The sole score was 60-54 by the referee.

Apart from the women's fight that was another enjoyable card from MTK
Lowe was over matched but fought hard for as long as he could until he couldn't take those hard punches anymore. He must have been horribly winded from that body shot to the pit of his stomach
Exciting fight
