I don’t think josh will step aside id like to see the rematch but he’s got to go for the ko and not try outbox a brilliant boxer maybe was usyks plan all along to put in mediocre performances against Witherspoon and chisora , I did think after those performances that Joshua would be too strong for him and thought he come in too light , I still think aj can stop usyk though in the rematch

You would think Joshuas best chance would be to go for the ko but there were times in the first fight when Joshua was hurt,he could well find himself in another Ruiz type situation, getting tagged.Usyk will have grown into the weight better and be supremely confident of stopping Joshua this time imo

Joshua won't step aside, cause nobody pays him that much.

AJ won't beat Usyk again he hasn't got the heart or courage. Best he does step aside because he has a chance against Fury who is slower and wreckless.

What sort of money are we talking about?

It obviously going to be in the millions

Not to be sniffed at!

The writing was on the wall the moment Joshua started trying to get his lead foot outside Usyk's in the first round.
Did he really think a few months sparring southpaw would mean he could get superior foot position against a master southpaw who has been beating orthodox fighters his whole life?
I would have preferred him to stab out the double jab and force Usyk to work his way inside, maybe stand on Usyk's lead foot and throw a big right hand if he got too close.
A bit dirty I know, but he would get no more than a ticking off for it from the ref and if he buzzed Usyk it would have been more than worth it.

Yes and I can't believe Joshua is mentally right for an immediate rematch. Usyk is hardly gonna gorge on pizza and get fat like Ruiz. AJ's confidence must be in a difficult place. I would recommend him taking step aside money, beating some stiff for a few million to get his confidence up then facing the winner.

Rumor has it that Joshua's price is £40 million. I can see Arum and Warren coming up with 20, but I very much doubt that Usyk's people are going to fork over one single cent.

I doubt either Arum or Warren do it. After all, they didn't pay Wilder what he had requested, while it had been lower than this.

Yes but according to Joshua it’s not about the money it’s about the legacy innit :D

All the noises from all sides are that Joshua will likely make a 'smart business move' and bottle taking the rematch in the hope Fury will beat Usyk in Saudi and then give Josh a shot or Usyk will beat Fury and then give Josh a rematch that a win would make him greatest of his era and a loss would be more palatable due to Fury also having been beaten by the Ukranian.

If you’re Usyk surely you don’t want to pay step aside money? After the first fight he’s got to believe he’s beating Joshua again & then going into the Fury fight with 3 belts & no promotional ties.

I know Usyk isn’t the type to hang around & will want to go for all the belts & to be the clear no. 1 but from a business point of view I don’t see how it makes sense.

I want to see Joshua-Wilder. That's the fight that excites me most in the division.

That’s would be exciting but for me, even with Usyk’s win the real big fight would be Joshua - Fury. For the U.K. angle and because the lead up would be great entertainment

Fury would destroy Joshua. Aj looks ginshy and scared of getting hit.

Fury would take him out in 3 rounds

The build up wouldn't even be as competitive as the fight. AJ has people checking he's got his headphones on and his lucozade towel, Tyson is just Tyson.

Don't know personaly i think it would be a exciting fight whilst it lasted , which would'nt be long ,,, AJ is a better boxer than Wilder , Aj's bigger than Wilder ,,, hits hard too ,, I can't see Fury manhandling AJ ,, not so sure he will completly dominate in boxing him either ,, , first to land big wins , ,, would'nt take much notice of Usyk beating AJ either , he has the perfect style to beat AJ , he's fast and hits hard , and can be elusive , plus southpaw , and too be honest would'nt suprise me if he beat Fury easy either .

Tyson is a master of using his size. Watch his leaning on. And hitting on the blind side. His ring iq is levels above what AJ's will ever be.

Agree ,, But just can't see his size working so well against AJ , who himself is a big strong unit , and does hit hard enough to make Tyson think twice about coming in , , styles make fights , and while Tyson would'nt find Usyk has hard to beat has AJ would , there styles match up for a exciting fight and unreal build up ,, its still the one i want to see

Fury could just revert to the style of the first Wilder fight. He has so many different styles he can fight in. Joshua always has a chance but Fury would now be favourite.

If AJ comes out more like Chisora did against Usyk he has a much better chance.
