Gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.

Cruz didn’t turn it up last round and Tank hurt his hand midway.

sure did not look like he could have gotten him out of there when his hand was fine. that neck on Cruz was key.

Lightweight dominance crew is gone. Loma lost, teo lost, Haney looks vulnerable, tank looks beatable in with no names, Garcia needs a shrink… wild.

Tanks top opponent so far was Leo Santa Cruz, who is a light puncher fighting a couple divisions over his weight. I think it time for Tank to step it up and either be who we have expected him to be or not. Im a big fan of his but getting tired of waiting for opponents to get better.

Really? I never thought he would amount to much and he has been pretty pedestrian and really going nowhere. I guess at the time he was undefeated.

I like the division being wide open. maybe it can lead to them fighting each other instead of just sitting in the sidelines.

Garcia could have had Campbell, Fortuna and Diaz on his 2021 resume.
He bottled 2021

Davis won quite clearly, but not in impressive fashion. It was a 8-4-ish win. Cruz was way too one-dimensional. Davis was gun-shy and far from deadly, he mostly outtapped Cruz, but he did it. A mediocre fight, a fair result.

Derevyanchenko and Adames stole the show, although I don't like the decision. I didn't expect Adames to be that good, but still he didn't do enough for win. Sergiy controlled the fight, worked and scored more. Probably Adames landed the biggests shots, but Derev just tends to get wobbled, his chin isn't the hardest. It was an action-packed bout with good display of boxing and shifts in both sides, while Derev did more to win in my eyes.

Eliminators should be 12 rounds
