Peter Fury and John Fury
Can someone explain why they’re not speaking? To my understanding John and Tyson didn’t even go to the funeral of Peter and John’s mum. Which surely has to be a major event for the family.
Also Peter has backed Porkys corner who regularly slates John.
What happened?

A dispute over a game of conkers. John claims he "Bayte" Peter, Peter refused to give best.
John said that not being a feather duster man and having bested any conker born from it's mother, that Peter was obviously taking diabolical liberties.
I believe it escalated from there

‘Diabolical liberties.’
Superb.
Only ever heard that phrase used once before.

It's something between them, fair chance it's over money, prob to do with Tyson, but it hasn't been and won't be publicly put out there.

Re: Peter Fury and John Fury
Nobody really knows but...
#1- Tyson retiring like he did after Klitschko really aggravated Peter; I recall an interview he did where he basically said, "I don't want to train anyone who doesn't take things seriously," which was a jab at his own nephew.
#2- Despite all that, they all seemed to have mended fences, so much so that Tyson put up his own money to make the Parker fight happen in Manchester for Hughie.
#3- After the fight, you see John and Tyson being very upset over the decision and very supportive of Hughie and Peter (ie, IFL TV) and they seemed to be stronger than ever as a family. There was even talk during this time of Tyson returning to the ring.
#4- But sometime after this event everything went downhill and has never been the same. John Fury has said at least once, paraphrasing here, "I will probably never talk to my brother again all because of money," and not so long ago he did an interview where he said, paraphrasing again, "My brother and I don't talk. He may as well be dead to me." Even Tyson himself has made some odd remarks such as, "Let's do an intergender match between myself and Savannah Marshall," whom his uncle trains.
I think what may have happened is that Peter assumed, or Hughie assumed, that they would have gotten a substantial payday from the Parker match--- but Tyson and John felt that since Tyson put up all of the money that whatever money was made from the event would go back into Tyson's pocket.
I've never asked but that's just my speculation. Even if you did ask they would never say why and if you did they would look at you as being a fake and basically shuts you out from all contact.

Doubt whatever it is will ever be televised around the internet forums , , but is it common knoledge in the traveller world . Do think by and large , if you want to know what goes on inside other peoples famillys , your just a nosey bastard who should mid your own buisness ,,,,,
But on the other side of the coin if people want to put themselves out there in the public to make money Ala , John Fury ,, don't get upset and secretive when the public want to know what color underpants you got on

Rufus would be the last person I’d believe on any subject. Especially the Fury’s.
I’m sure someone knows what’s gone on. It’s definitely money.

They've never mentioned anything apart from John saying he'll probably never speak to his brother again because of money. I'd be shocked if Tyson and Big John didn't go to the funeral. I saw a video with granny Fury on IFL a while back and they seemed close.

Re: Peter Fury and John Fury
That's unforgivable.
Re: Peter Fury and John Fury
Lets be fair, that temptation has crossed the thoughts of many a good men....especially when the group started of small, you are yet to get the round in...a few more mates arrive, a couple of locals/hangers on start joining in the conversation and you know its your turn next, the glasses are draining fast, what do you do? Is there a way out, can I leg it so I can get out of paying the round, say it was a family emergency? No you man up and get the round in, fight that inner demon and take the £40 hit...It hurts but you know you are a real man and can then start saying out loud 'who's round is it next', knowing those thoughts are now circling around in the next mans head.........mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2021, 05:56That's unforgivable.

I used to know lads who were completely skint and would want to borrow a few quid, like 3, as a "a foot in the door ", knowing after their first pint they could perform this trick.
Re: Peter Fury and John Fury
I find it hard to believe Tyson put the money up for Hughie to fight Parker in Manchester. At that stage I bet Peter had far more money than Tyson (look into his background).
Don’t get me wrong Tyson’s earning fortunes now but back then he’d only really had one big pay day against Wlad & he won’t have ended up with anywhere near his full purse from that after all the tax & additional costs are taken off.
