Yeah that’s the issue I guess. I’d seriously put him with Crawford; he’s be a underdog. But why not.

Fuk people want conor beat. That was a good fight for connor, Mixed in more body shots, still got caught by few left hooks which you want to learn from now with a non puncher rather than getting KO'd... Still isnt ready for the top and needs to stay active after a relitivly simple night but that was right fight right time i think.
2022 few of broner, khan, brook, thurman, ava or someone else that notch bellow the top... then 2023 hope a weak belt exisits or crawford starts slowing down.

Fancy calling out khan and brook. Granny basher

Re: Round-by-Round: Conor Benn vs. Chris Algieri | DAZN - 11 December 2021
Great performance, great finish but stop mentioning Khan and Brook and let’s have mention of David Avanesyan…

Fully agree. I’d love to see the Avanesyan fight but it’s unlikely to happen.gregregegg wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:50 Fuk people want conor beat. Agree he looked good not ready for world level but he did look well improved ,,, However UNTIL we see him in with another young buck , instead of old featherfisted who have all seen well better days we cannot really gauge put him in with Avenaysangregregegg wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:50 Fuk people want conor beat. I’d give him a lot more credit for beating Mckinson or Essuman than fighters who are more than 5 years past their prime

Some good choices, but not Ava, he is way too open for Ava yet.gregregegg wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:50 Fuk people want conor beat. They will feed him Broner probably. He comes quite cheap these days, its about child support not billions.

Am I right in saying if Benn fights Broner then Broner would only have 1 fight in the last 3 years. Against someone I know nothing about.
Perfect Eddie stuff.

seem a little defensive of conner there greg my man lol. i dont want him beat at all and have said many times i think hes world champ material. i just want him in with someone who will bring a fight and has some weaponry of their own. its been a nonstop streak of non punchers or survivalists for con. algeiri was feather hands and a career 140, who was retired. joseito lopez was mentioned....id love that fight for connorgregregegg wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:50 Fuk people want conor beat. Also remember if they are going to stick Benn in a fifty fifty, they will want it to be a big fight which will really sell.
Khan is the bigger seller, Brook a level below, and nobody has heard of Ava.
No way are they going to take the hardest fight for something which won't sell better than this one.

It was gonna take a hellacious shot like that monster right hand Benn detonated to iron out Algieri, he's a cute customer, stood up to some wicked body shots , the left hook that put him down in the 2nd looked legit but replays showed it was around back of head/neck, can't fault ref for calling it though it though, it looked genuine, Benn was 1st class tonight, cool, composed and fought with controlled aggression, his jab was immense as we're his body shots, the right hand for the KO was perfect, slipped the jab and landed the 1 and enormous 2, epic

Fxck sake Blanca mate your banging on like Algieri is some roadman who gets beat up on a regular basis, aye he's 37 but he's extremely fit, came in here in terrific shape and had still only lost to Pacquiao, Spence and Khan, Benn's bypassed British level with limited amateur experience and unthinkable pressure, it's another solid win for him and he takes the next step, the fact that you think this is a gross mismatch suggests your high on the Benn train eh??

he takes the next step-- so who will his next fight be then? if he's taken another step, surely hes beyond the likes of say a chris van heerden now.
should be in with ava level at least? sergey lipinets?

Avanesyan is a great fight and a genuine 50/50 maybe even Benn would have to be underdog, Eddie's made it clear he thinks Benn is a couple fights away from his level, I hope tonight's showing makes him take the reigns offmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 19:47 he takes the next step-- so who will his next fight be then? if he's taken another step, surely hes beyond the likes of say a chris van heerden now.

Benn could wait for Crawford to retire and still be in his prime, but I think he's better off trying to catch Bud coming down the hill, before Ortiz or Ennis replace him. Dunno what's happening with Spence.gregregegg wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 18:502022 few of broner, khan, brook, thurman, ava or someone else that notch bellow the top... then 2023 hope a weak belt exisits or crawford starts slowing down.
So long as Ugas doesn't lose in the next year, that's a great target for Benn. Starting with Broner or Hooker for US coverage, and then the Khan-Brook winner in summer.

The obvious thing to do business wishes and in terms of bringing Benn on.Grilling Machine wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 19:54Benn could wait for Crawford to retire and still be in his prime, but I think he's better off trying to catch Bud coming down the hill, before Ortiz or Ennis replace him. Then make Crawford in 18 months time.
Even if he slips up against a Broner or a Khan he will still be in the mix. Benn is always in exciting fights and losing in exciting fights often open doors too.

Think Spence goes to 154 soon, when he does gunna be some sneaky bribes flowing for every one to try get there young prospect In with a weak opponent for a vacant belt. If boots gets it ya have a big problem, Same with Ortiz. You wanna get in befor either of those two.Grilling Machine wrote: ↑11 Dec 2021, 19:54Benn could wait for Crawford to retire and still be in his prime, but I think he's better off trying to catch Bud coming down the hill, before Ortiz or Ennis replace him.
