Re: Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury | Showtime PPV - December 18, 2021 (OFF)
Yea found it, weirdly wasn’t mentioned in the first few articles I skimmed. If true not good. Busted rib and chest infection takes some getting over to be back sparring.
Interestingly Woodley has been using the hashtag “teamstayready” recently (befor the pull out), which is at least a good sign, would of been a shame if he had been on the burger program and his “camp” was just a 10 day fat camp. But looks fit.

I was worried until I seen on his instagram that Woodley has been steady training and keeping in shape and seemed to feel this might happen.
At 40 years old, 12 days notice is bad. But looks like Woodley is fairly ready.

This event will definitely achieve at least three times more PPV buys than Crawford-Porter. ![[icon_e_sad.gif] :verysad:](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Jake Paul's mum has slammed John Fury over "vulgar" comments he made about her son's girlfriend Julia Rose during a recent pre-fight press conference.
Paul had been set to face John's son Tommy Fury this weekend, but the bout was cancelled after the British fighter picked up an injury during training.
'Big' John made extremely crude comments about Paul's girlfriend during a the live press conference, which BT Sport were later forced to apologise for.
The 57-year-old told Paul - who appeared via video-link - that after Tommy wins the fight "he is going to bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog".
The taunt didn't go down well with Jake's mother Pam Stepnick, who revealed she turned off the stream in disgust.
"[John's comments] were so disgusting that I turned [the stream] off," Pam told iFL TV.
"I just couldn't take these disgusting, vulgar comments from him, and I don't know why he was doing the talking, he's not the fighter.
"Talking about Julia that way, it was needless."
When asked for her thoughts about her son's opponent pulling out of the fight, Pam said she "wasn't surprised".
"When you get down to it, [Tommy] didn't show up to the first press conference and then the other press conference it was just his Dad.
"He was just being really, totally disgusting and Tommy wasn't saying anything so he did seem overwhelmed and a little bit afraid so I don't know.
"I was unhappy. I really wanted Jake to fight Tommy because of all the back-and-forth," she added.
"I'm glad he showed a scan [to prove he was injured], but for all I know they're fake scans."
