Post by margaret thatcher »

for me, i want someone with some decent offensive and fighting spirit of their own, not undersized

in 2022, i want at least 1 of guys like lipinets, ava, kava

josesito lopez had been mentioned as a possible opponent, but algeiri got it instead. how about lopez next?

The Khan Brook winner would be huge, esp if it was for an interim/ regular title

Because there's easier fights out there avoiding the best Britain has to offer .

In fairness they did try and make the fight with Jenkins for the British (and Jenkins wanted to accept their offer too) but FW would only consider purse bids which takes too long. Instead he fought Formella whilst Jenkins waited 9 months before fighting Essuman.

I love it when guys go the traditional route as it usually makes competitive fights and builds fighters really well but I think Benn did the right thing moving on from it when it became clear it was going to be difficult to make and time consuming too. He’s had 4 fights since the Jenkins fight was mooted and I don’t think anyone can argue with his progression.

That's the opposite of what's going to happen. I'd love that too.
Look at Algeri - past it, can't punch, no danger.

Does'nt matter what anyone wants , or who you would like to see him fight ,, his path has been mapped out well and truly your not going to see him chase a title shot till at least 2023 ,, he's going to be fed Broner next , then the winner Khan , Brooks ,, thats if they come to the party , personaly i don't think any off them will want to be used has a stepping stone , but still i think both could well beat him , especielly Brook ,, he does have a dig on him and it will be the first time that Benn actually becomes the hunted , , Hearn said himself he's 2-3 fights from fighting the best , thats at least a year away , , In the meantime we will just have to put up with him trying to demand respect instead of earning it , telling the world at every opportunity , i'm Nigels son i don't have to fight i just love being an animal ,

Also put up with Nigel telling the world my sons better than i was , my sons a killer bla bla bla ,,, and too be honest i liked Nigel Benn just like his son he was exciting ,, but lets have it right at the time just like Connor he never fought the real good ones at his weight , did'nt want a bar of Toney who actually called him out on a few occasions

Will say one thing about that camp , His trainer is doing a Magnificent job with him .

Weird that people act like broner is a walk in the park. He is a tough fight when he is partying. If connor somehow gets him when he is driven (hear he is broke right now), its a very hard fight and broner will be able to counter connor at will.

also weird that People are acting like the winner of kahn vs brook is an easy fight. These two still have excelent offence and connor has questionable defence (headmovement looks slick when he is borderline showboating but the rest of the fight he finds himself in poor spots vs poor offence). Brook or kahn Could easily get chinned early no doubt, but if connor cant get rid of them within 6 rounds he will have taken some serious damage.

They seem old and past prime, and no doubt there slightly past it but whos to say how much... Brook has only lost to ultra elite, Kahn has only lost to ultra elite in the last 9 years, broner has only lost to near elite (and has never been stopped). All three would be a massive step up in risk.
