Super Welterweights: John "The Beast" Mugabi vs. Simon Brown

Post by scorpio83 »

12 or 15 Rounds Super Welterweight Bout

Mugabi and Brown would slug it out, but the Beast would start to overwhelm Brown behind his powerful punches, then knocking him out in 6 rounds with his overhand right. What do you guys think and who do you got?

I like both but think Mugabi is too strong.i don't know if Brown can hurt him but am sure he hurts, and can ko Brown. In his prime,up til Hagler,Mugabi was a force, then I dont know ,but it seems like his ambition waned.

But in his prime,he crushes Brown.

It was strange at the difference in Mugabi after Hagler. It was like he had no more heart

I respectfully disagree. I think pre Hagler, would stop him.Maybe not ,but I think so.Brown was good but sometimes chose to slug. If he slipped up,k.o.

At 154 Mugabi.
Brown had more power in the divisions below Super Welterweight, not sure he could carry his punch up.
