Oh to be young, high and finding King Artur on the telly by accident again !
I also got laid if that helps your whimsical vicarious musings?

Don't worry I'm stuck indoors with f*ck all to do now all weekend, now that omicron has pissed all over my chips.

he looked gassed after 3 and it was his heart that didnt want it in 9th
I wouldn't be too harsh on him. He got up from the KD in the 7th, and I can see why he stayed down for the final count. He was with it but properly bashed up.
world title fight tho, i mean remember i aint talking about low level fighters so aint discrediting him as such
I've not really kept up with LHW. Browne was nothing special, eh?

Edit: I just looked at the poll.

The answer is no.

Browne, even while he was relatively competitive in 1-3, seemed to think that it was a good idea to go into the corner and try countering out of it. Absolute suicide v Beterbiev for someone without topshelf power. Just crazy. He was competitive for three rounds though, but it seems it was just until Beterbiev fully checked his power. From then on there was blood.

Read the comments but not seen the fight.

Sounded like Beterbiev went through more than he might have been expecting.

He looked a bloody mess from a forehead cut but otherwise seemed in control from what I saw.

6-2 bert, plus an extra point off browne for a kd 78-73

it was a very typical 'guy starts slow and loses the first couple then takes over' type of fight, just that the cut made bert look a mess

Why did Beterbiev start so slow and give up almost three straight rounds.
Ok 2 but he didn't win any of the opening three rounds ?

His move to Derrick James was more so about building confidence, rubbing shoulders with the Charlo bros/Spence, train hard fight easy etc. I would have preferred for him to fight at least 2 more Denis Grachev type opponents before getting in there with Beterbiev. He cannot afford to stand in front of Bet for more than a sec or let his back touch the ropes. He will require constant movement and superior stamina to win rounds. I think once Bet starts touching his body he will unravel. I picked Beterbiev by 8 rd stoppage.
Thanks for the excellent rundown. I think that you are likely to be on target, although I would love to see Marcus execute to near perfection and get the decision victory.
Poor Marcus he actually boxed pretty well in the 8th Rd after getting dropped in the 7th. However the writing was on the wall. I don't think Canelo wants that smoke with Beterbiev after this.

Nice job. You nailed it.

Beterbiev hits harder than 3G. He makes people fold. If Canelo took that fight and won he would vault up the ranks of ATGs.

Ok fair enough.
I'd watch it.

That is the fight. They are the top of the heap and they should have already settled it. I do empathize with their maneuvering for the Canelo lottery.

If Canelo goes for a LHW in May I think that it will be Bivol. He is not as powerful as Beterbiev, but he is one beautiful boxer.

I get it.
Short term it makes sense to push Beterbiev to the front of the line.
Canelo might be the horse you can bring to water but not drink it type and why would he[In relation to a Beterbiev fight] with primary options as the P4P No 1.
I dunno, someone say something and make a move :box:

I propose that Canelo offers Beterbiev the fight at 168.
Beterbiev has to come down in weight.
He won't get a better offer than that will he ?
Probably the only way you'll make the bout happen in the short term.
