Might have just been my stream but I didn't hear the bell for any round. They just stopped boxing. So maybe it was only audible in the arena?

Alex Arthur said he hit him 5 to 7 times after the bell. If so, bit of a disgrace.

Was really enjoying that as well. Good fight.

id bet they dont overturn it, but instead give soro another eliminator or something

it looked clear that the ref waived it off and that ended up being the result. at what point and why did ppl there in the ring start to think something else happened? did the ref change his mind, only to change it back again?

Think Soro’s corner men kicked off that started the confusion. Ref never seemed to waiver from his decision to wave it off.

He saying it was after the bell.

Did the bell go early? Or was if a 3 min round?

I didn't hear the bell either tbh not until the ref jumped inbetween them and clearly waved it off, maybe the ref didn't hear it either but either way he made an arse of it in the aftermath, the correct result stood at end of day whether you agree with it, if it was to continue that wouldve been a bit of a shambles especially if the ref claimed he was just separating them because bell went to end round

Shame as it was a good fight I had Madrimov just ahead, Soro's workrate let him down in a few rounds, he blocked a lot of Madrimov's work and got his own shots off well at times, Madrimov looked a bit wild and slow for spells but worked the body well, landed some nice right uppercuts and hurt Soro in the 5th with a right hand, as for the ending Soro was boxing well and got hurt by a right and took clean shots on the ropes when Madrimov followed, head got pinged back a couple times, seen fights stopped like that a hundred times, if it was after bell then you've gotta feel for Soro

Is it the “correct result” if the referee stops the fight because of the effect of illegal punches?

Nah, as I said I struggled to hear bell myself even when I watched it back, if it was after bell then maybe should be changed to NC

Absolutely has to be a No contest. How can you possibly have a TKO Via flurry 3 mins and 5 seconds into a round....

Not a DQ, because he, and the ref didnt hear it. I didnt hear it either, crowd was going mental but they need a louder bell.. and to really go to town on that super loud bell if you know the crowd is making noise.

I've seen the stoppage a good few times and I still struggle to hear the bell, i hear it just before the ref jumps in, no doubt 2 or 3 landed after but still not sure if it went before I heard it
