I would still empty my wallet for chisora vs Ruiz, chisora vs wilder, and to a lesser extent chisora vs Ortiz (if he wins).
Vs Ruiz he could actualy use his jab, Vs wilder he would make it horrroble, and vs Ortiz it would be a good old geriatric royal rumble.

That's as good a testimonial as Chisora could hope for. It's only down from here if he continues, and he's already a high risk for brain damage before his time. He's made plenty, he's entertained, and he's nothing left to prove.
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora II - 18 December 2021
44 fights and never had a draw.
It was probably Eddie's dream for him to have one tonight.
From the judge's cards, it looks like they were incentivised to score a draw. Pretty hard with 3 KDs, but they gave it a good go.

did babic really almost got ko'd? i missed the fight and hadnt read about it till now
btw, a load of fighters were in the crowd throughout the card, more than id ever seen. i wonder if they got paid to show up, looks like the whole mr roster had been brought out. babic was there and looked grumpy, maybe i shouldve taken the hint lol

ya just watched, hurt good there, almost fully spun around. was fortunate it was at the end of the round
commentary went on that it was late notice so he wasnt nearly at his best, but hardly like the frenchman had been gifted with a 2 month camp for the fight. i guess late notice, opponent change, etc only seem to be recognized for the a fighter

Chisora was always one step behind, which pretty much sums up his career.
It was a good scrap. Chisora is fading, although they where some big uppercuts that put him over. I don't think he is going to retire anytime soon but I do think it's finally time to put him to bed with these headline fights.
I don't rate Parker any higher on that showing. He struggles to put punches together before leaning in and his stamina seems to be an issue. He made it hard work tonight. He's also easy to hit. It's the same criticism after every fight he is in.

Pointless and predictable rematch
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora II - 18 December 2021
I'd still think there is unfinished business between Parker and Whyte. If any fight needed a rematch it was that one. Very close on the cards anyway, Whyte on the brink of getting stopped and a controvesial way in which the tide originally swung in Whytes favour.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑19 Dec 2021, 05:08 Chisora was always one step behind, which pretty much sums up his career.

Del is just deliriously brave, but he needed a compassionate corner to save him there - no way were those last 5 rounds of heavy punishment worth what he’ll pay down the road.
Coldwell is a f*cking idiot, not a care in the world for the fighter he’s meant to be looking out for.
Costello used to be good on BBC, but he’s inevitably morphed into a matchroom cheerleader in this DAZN job - excitedly trying to make every fight he’s covering sound like we’re watching the thriller in Manila - still miles better than the sky cronies though ..

I was sat about 5 feet from John Fury. Can’t really take your eyes off the man.
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora II - 18 December 2021
Great fight! Chisora fight the best. Other boxers should do the same. but most of them are afraid. Thank you Del Boy!

Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora II - 18 December 2021
It was an entertaining punch up but Chisora shouldn't be taking that kind of punishment anymore. God knows how they made the scorecards even that close, 3 knockdown rounds and a 114-112 to Parker ?
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora II - 18 December 2021
chisora is washed up and should retire before he gets more brain damaged .
Parker was the clear winner and showed limited improvements but still seems vulnerable and sometimes reluctant to trade and also gotta question his fitness in the second half of the fight .
Ridiculous score cards - again !

It’s fckin shocking really. Michael Alexander was trying his absolute hardest to make it a draw. Must have had a few quid on it.

I noticed Chisora wasn’t able to use his roughhouse tactics as much.
Probably because Parker weighed more than him.
The fights Chisora should have won, he loses, and then the fights he clearly loses, have daft cards.
Why not just give us good scorecards all the time.
