So now we have Bivol, Beterbiev and Zurdo idle of fights. Will they fight each other or stay safe for Canelo payday?

I mean in an ideal boxing world Beterbiev and Bivol should unify next but I have that sneaky feeling that Canelo is far more important for them.

Beterbiev vs Bivol
Zurdo vs Joe Smith Jr

What!? You can say that about Ramirez and Bivol, but freaking Beterbiev just fought Browne and the dude fought Gvozdyk. Beterbiev and safe aren't compatible.

I don't think Beterbiev will, but Zurdo will likely avoid anything tough until Canelo calls. Bivol is a mystery. He's been fighting crappy competition since his win over Smith Jr.

Since 2019 when Beterbiev beat Gvozdy, he fought 2 times against lesser competition and of course that it was the pandemy that screwed all but its not like Deines and Browne were some threats at 175.

Indeed, Bivol as well fought some crap competition since he beat Joe Smith Jr.

Zurdo called out Bivol 2 times.

Since Canelo fought Kovalev at 175, the mind$et of the top LHW fighters has changed.

Browne is a better fight than Salamov and Gonzalez. To say otherwise is straight up lying.

Zurdo called out everyone when he was a champ at SMW. Ducked the WBSS even though the money was 7 times more than his career high payday, and there were unifications on offer.
Then he fought 7 defences, including Hart twice
And moved up before, heaven forbid, taking on a top tier opponent.

apollo making out that zurdo is some guy just after the best fights while the others are duckers is lol. have you followed this dude's career?

gonzalez was prime 6 years ago and wasnt even very good then

at smw, zurdo had life and death with jesse hart and maybe that spooked him off tough opponents

C Smith v Zurdo makes sense for the fans. Of course, that does not factor in to decision making.

You're going the other way, though. Dude also fought Vlasov early as a prospect. Hart is a very good fighter. He'd be a top win for anyone from 168 to 175.

bruh, he fought vlasov 7 years ago, he's done nothing notable in years and nothing remotely ambitious at 175

hart is joe smith's bitch and has spent 95 percent of his career beating c level opposition. ramirez beat him 3 and 4 years ago, in super close fights. he hardly deserves props in 2021 for his ambition. hes another one of these guys from 168-175 who have just been doing jacksh!t so they can minimize risk as they try to get a canelo fight

look who he's facing at lhw, 40+ fights in. guys years past their best who werent very good to start with.

I don't like the way his career is panning out recently, but Zurdos resume has held up well. Do you think Hart wouldn't be a top 5 win for a lot of top 168-175 lovers?

Do you think Vlasov beats Zurdo now?

im talking his ambition over the last few years, vlasov like 7 years ago when canelo was out of the equation is pretty much irrelevant. if that showed zurdo's balls, then he hasnt been showing any of them lately

he's just yet another one of these guys who don't want any challenges since canelo moved up - tbf he's not the only one, you can see it with plant, bjs, bivol, and the lot of them really. 40+ fights in and he's facing the likes of alfonso lopez, tommy karpency, and yuneski gonalzez. his best opponent at lhw was ko'd easily by bivol 4 years ago.

vlasov today would be a hell of a lot better than who zurdo's been fighting lately. im not knocking his ability btw.

Good call! Imo Vlasov beat Joe Smith Jr. but he didn't get the W.

Zurdo Ramirez has a decent resume. Better resume than Benavidez, Callum Smith, Plant or Charlo. :TU:

Realistically Zurdo Ramirez has a better resume in terms of wins than Benavidez, Callum Smith, Plant or Charlo!

2015 Vlasov, 2016 Abraham and 2017 Hart are good wins for Zurdo.

Zurdo vs Callum is a decent match up.

Zurdo vs Benavidez fight would be intriguing imo. Too bad that Bena is draining himself at 168 fighting low opposition.
