It’s on neither man’s’ record.
It’s one of the most historically significant fights.
There’s no dispute as to where or when it took place, nor the outcome.
Seems like a glaring omission. Maybe there’s something I’m missing?
Why is’t Sullivan-Kilrain listed?
Re: Why is’t Sullivan-Kilrain listed?
I believed the reason why the Sullivan vs. Killrain wasn't listed was because that fight was a bareknuckle fight and this site disallowed to have bareknuckle fights. This was why they weren't listed.
Re: Why is’t Sullivan-Kilrain listed?
That fight is in the BoxRec wiki, however: https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Jake ... ._Sullivan

Boxrec does now have amateur records, World Series semi pro fights and bare knuckle records now for ex pros who have gone into bare knuckle boxing. Maybe it can be added on under the bare knuckle fights then?

Re: Why is’t Sullivan-Kilrain listed?
Just checked, they have got John L. Sullivan’s bare knuckle fight vs Kilrain on his bare knuckle record which you can find at the top of his pro boxing record.
Re: Why is’t Sullivan-Kilrain listed?
Sullivan -Kilrain more technically should be a London Prize Ring bout. Mixing LPR bouts with current bareknuckle bouts should be considered wrong and confusing.
If Boxrec added an LPR category I'd be all for listing it.
