Joe has a broken wrist. Won't be ready.
Good interview from FW above explains the situation. Frank speaks a lot of sense. Maybe it's because I'm old but I far prefer him to the Essex boy.

Maybe so no to pay sanctioning fees or maybe because Whyte is mandated to be the next WBC heavyweight challenger i.e. no voluntary allowed? I don't know that, just my thoughts.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 15:24 thx
i dont get why he still cant defend the wbc belt though since he still has it

Come on everyone, just grow a pair and make it happen. So what if you are earning say 5 million less than multi million pounds you are earning
The blame is entirely on Whyte's shoulders because of this stupid arbitration. He refuses to let the lawsuit go. He wants to have his cake and eat it too, dragging things out well into summer or longer because deliberations for the arbitration don't begin until March.stujones wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:00 Jesus, this is dire. Not tuned in to all the videos yet - but FGS Whyte has been ordered by the WBC yet it seems like the combination of Eddie / Frank and Bob can't even get this one together. Like the Fury vs Joshua debacle negotiating, negotiating, negotiating for every last penny and every little I dotted and t crossed being absolutely perfect. If they would have just got on with it - it would have happened BEFORE the Wilder arbitration decision.handsofstone wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:03stujones wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:00 Jesus, this is dire. Yeah. It’s 100% the WBC’s fault. Why do they need to wait until March to get it resolved. It’s not like this has only just decided. They’ve known that Whyte will be/is mandatory since his fight with Wallin was cancelled. They’ve made a real mess out of this.handsofstone wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:27 I blame the WBC for this mess, they could've ordered the Whyte fight 2 years ago but dithered, I'm no Whyte fan but he probably feels theres a good chance the arbitrator will get him 45% and there a even greater chance that without an arbitration the WBC will give him 20%, he's waiting it out, fck the ABCs
While we're at it with the WBC, how come they've never stripped Russell Jr??

Why wouldn’t he? Having Eddie about means Tyson could be getting a record payday through crazy purse bids or by forcing Top Rank/FW to overpay.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:08 I think Tyson is in the home straight now. He will do whatever he wants. He's won over the public. As if he's going to box Whyte with Eddie about.
Maybe they've done it on purpose?maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:35Yeah. It’s 100% the WBC’s fault. Why do they need to wait until March to get it resolved. They probably have done it on purpose. Whether it’s on purpose or not they’re the ones that created the mess and they’re doing a crap job of sorting it out.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:56Maybe they've done it on purpose?maverick23 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 16:35Yeah. He goes on about being mandatory for years. I think he's forgotten he got knocked out!
To be fair to Warren on THIS occasion,Eddie has been running his mouth plenty about Whyte vs Fury being early in the new year. Getting really fed up of being sold another porky when it comes to the heavyweights.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑23 Dec 2021, 20:06Yeah we’ve all heard that sort of plan plenty of times before, but never quite works out like that with Fury, eh.
