Admire Bakole for his willingness to step it up and take on Yoka in his own back yard.
Sadly I think he'll get screwed over and drop a controversial decision but there'll be better days ahead for him.

It wouldn't be much of a surprise if Martin stops Yoka.

Cant see how it can be a controversial decision. If this fight is still going after 12 then yoka has used his legnth and a bit of negativity and has comfortably outboxed bakole and wins wide. IF the fight is close then someone will get stopped.Sammy Scaff wrote: ↑24 Dec 2021, 06:45 Admire Bakole for his willingness to step it up and take on Yoka in his own back yard.

I’m still not sure this will happen. If so would be awesome if Bakole won

The loss to Hunter doesn't bode well for this fight. Bakole wanted out of the Hunter fight when the going got tough.
Re: Tony Yoka vs. Martin Bakole - 15 January 2022
Really 70/30? I just can't see it that way. I've never been impressed with Yoka, so maybe I'm underestimating him to some extent.
Re: Tony Yoka vs. Martin Bakole - 15 January 2022
Unfortunately yes. I think if Yoka gets hurt, he will probably revert back to his amateur style, get on his bike and keep Bakole off at range. Look at the poll re: Yoka decision. He has an 82 inch reach. Hopefully not though. I want him to go down

Hopefully the rumoured spars with Joe Joyce have a similar effect on the result of this fight to what they did in Joyce v Dubois.

The fight’s been postponed. They’ve limited indoor arenas to 2,000 which the promoters aren’t happy about. No news on the new date yet but they’ve said postponed and not cancelled.

Oh crap on a stick!
This is/was the best confirmed HW fight out there right now.
Sure there are a few coming up, but this was one I actually wanted to see.

Sauerland reporting Yoka has accepted fighting Fillip Hrgovic in an IBF final eliminator.
Presumably that’s the Yoka v Bakole fight sh1t canned?
