outside of maybe Kabayel, Hughie loses to everyone on that list.

I voted Helenius and Sanchez in, and I'd like them both above Chisora (H at 13, S at 14).
If Ortiz loses in a couple of days, I'd also vote him out of the top 15. He's 85 years old already.

Cheers. I'm in agreement. Sanchez and Helenius beat prospects/upcomers, Chisora has lost 3 on then trot.CMCanavessi wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 16:53 I voted Helenius and Sanchez in, and I'd like them both above Chisora (H at 13, S at 14).
We'll get to that next week hopefully. If Ortiz loses in a couple of days, I'd also vote him out of the top 15. He's 85 years old already.

Will keep the poll open a few days.
I don't think there is anyone else deserving of a top 15 rank than the ones I mentioned.
GOSH - what a division..

It’s not love.
He’s very hard to love with his style, but there aren’t many better defensive boxers @ HW. He beat Parker clearly and he might not peak for another 5 years.
I will not mention “ManStrength” TM !

Helenius and Sanchez seem the ones to be added in Hunter and Rivas’ exits.

This is such a weird situation. because i feel we are wayyyy off in how we think all those match ups play out. I really rate the young pup hughie fury.
Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Parker vs. Chisora / Hunter vs. Forrest / Rivas
I know you do. I just don't see anything special with him. Never did. Except his last name. He's still has time to make an impact, but I wouldn't put any money on it.gregregegg wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 20:59This is such a weird situation. because i feel we are wayyyy off in how we think all those match ups play out. In Hughie's 3 loses. A total of 36 rounds. I gave him 2 rounds in each a total of 6 rounds out of 36.oogiebe wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 21:53I know you do. I just don't see anything special with him. Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Parker vs. Chisora / Hunter vs. Forrest / Rivas
interesting, i think i had him winning more like 12 rounds out of those 36, so i guess that paints a very different story.tiny_acres wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 22:25In Hughie's 3 loses. If i go off boxrec contributor scoring which is never great he won 7, had 9 swing rounds and lost 20. (where if less than 75% of people could agree on the winner of the round i called it a swing round). Thats not winning, but its being compeditive against pretty elite competition. and if you gave him all the swing round he could have being scored winner vs parker (not that i agree there. he was dominating untill cut vs pulev. and pre covid povetkin was just to much for him.

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Parker vs. Chisora / Hunter vs. Forrest / Rivas
he got cut in the 2nd vs pulev
at best he won a quite opener prior to the cut, that's hardly domination. him not being able to cope with a cut is his own weakness anyway. i had him losing 118-111 to pulev and i think 116-112 to povetkin

I thought it was the third. but still, looked sharp for that 20 seconds.... Bit like parker was dominating whyte till the headclash, i stand by that one even more. my reality is special.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 23:14 he got cut in the 2nd vs pulev
