I stand by my opinion that Hughie is not a top 15 contender and never will be one.
He will have to prove me wrong before I change my mind

Everyone happy? Hope we done Dag proud.

Chisora moved to 15 below the new guys, because there was a split between him being 15 or exiting the rankings.

I think Sanchez and Helenius already deserve to be ahead of his at this moment in time.

It's effort with all these links and flags and everything else Dag does. Believe me, don't want to change anything about his thread.

You've done well. Hopefully once it gets going again the process can be a bit smoother and I'll happily help out if needed. Only a few more days until the next vote though

Hope Dag's doing well!

Took me a few days. Managed to get the hang of it.

I feel the polls helped me ( obviously) decide where people wanted boxers things.

Dag probably did the same thing but without a poll.

That's quite a nice ranking. I still have problems with Pulev being in it. He's been doing crappy triller stuff instead of fighting.
Hope to see big Mac inside the top 15 soon.

Who are other prospects to follow in 2022 that could get in? Do they even exist? Maybe Efe can bounce back?

Nice to see 3 of our top 15s booked for January. Few guys fighting that are probably in that 20-30 range too on those cards. Interested in the weigh ins, Gunna get to see how much ham the lads got into over Chrissy.

Frank Sanchez is no longer fighting Negron (COVID).

He’ll instead fight spoiler Christian Hammer.

If Pulev doesn’t engage with a boxer in a proper boxing match after the next one, then there will be consideration about him still being in the ranking.

Didn't dag have an 18 month rule?
18 months without a fight and they are out.

That’s a much better fight. Hope hammer brings some ambition, I’d give him a chance, think Sanchez is far from special.

its not much better at all, will be a dreadful fight with hammer spoiling while failing to win a round. did you guys see hammer vs hughie last time out?

negron would go for it and it would probably be a short and fun ko fight, with hammer it will be an ugly prolonged spoil fest, unless he quits early again

That's fair, but I suspect he has already checked out and will be doing this Triller triad combat thing for good money. It's been bad enough with the level of opposition Hunter and Ortiz have been fighting, but with Pulev, it's up in the air whether he is even a pro-boxer anymore.

P.s. great job with this btw, and hope dag is doing well

do we have an activity requirement?

pulev's last boxing match was december of last year. i dont think he should be kicked out just for having bareknuckle fights, but if he's not meeting an activity requirement for conventional boxing thats another story.

perhaps, even if a fighter isnt up for a vote (because they haven't fought), we could nominate them for a vote with, say, if 80 percent of respondents agree on it. might be a way to deal with hangers on

He did look like he didn't really want to put in the work and take the innevitable beating Hughie was going to give him, and noped out of there with an "arm" injury.

Maybe, this is a sign of Hughie starting to put it all together. He put in an entertaining performance against Wach the fight before as well

i'll believe it when hughie does it against a good opponent and not guys brought in to lose. wach and hammer aint much tbh

hughie's problem has been that he's skittish vs high level opponents who are offensively capable themselves, he didnt have to deal with that vs wach or hammer. he's already let his hands go vs guys like sexton and rudenko in the past, before then getting beat when stepping up
